Time and Again

I mean, I guess I should be flattered, but I'm actually bemused. Can you guess why this earned a 'like' - ?

Sarah Castillo (mredria) Maybe they agreed with you?

Maybe it is as simple as that - tx!

Iset Whenever someone leaves me a "like" without a comment and they're not someone I know, I just assume that they agree with my points.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) I'm kind of new to the "like" button but I have started using it as an agreement tool. I like and agree with the review.

Darlene (dar49) | 8 comments It convinced me to try. "thought-provoking" are the key words. Besides, it has time travel, right?

Huh. So, goes to show, a very short review can be effective. Good to know.

message 8: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) I've had a couple reviews that got liked by strangers for unknown reasons. I'm always curious as to why, but never ask. On the other hand, I've liked reviews by strangers and never commented to them as to why either. Mostly I'll like a review if it expresses something I wanted to say but couldn't figure out how, or if it says more eloquently something I tried stumblingly to say about a book.

Yeah, I think I need to make a better effort to comment why when I 'like' a review. To me it seems self-evident, but the reviewer might like to see clarity, and besides would probably like the ego boost (not only do I like your review enough to hit the like button, but I like it enough to comment!).
