This is a tough question!
I would of course say the 3 main characters, but (Excuse me) They are to straightforward to be my favorite persons, we know where we have them. I mean a favorable mention is Snape, his whole life story is just awesome, sad and well i cried, to say the least, i mean forever in the friend zone?!. Dumbledore has more to him than just being a headmaster, he has done regrettable things and so on, stuff that made him more awesome. Voldemort can also be considered one of my favourite also because of his story. I don't judge the characters based on if they're bad or good. I base my judgement on how they have made different choices based on their life stories. And these 3 stories, just made me adore these men. But if i had to choose one of them i would go with.... Snape!

I'll have to say Dumbledore, Macgonagal, and Ron are definite favourites! But i also like Snape and Sirius...
And hats off to the author who actually managed to make me hate Umbridge more than Voldemort!!!

DOBBY!!!! How cant you love him? Absolute favorite! I started crying sooooo hard when i read his death scene. I was in fourth grade and in the classroom and i had to hide my face with my book so that nobody would see me cry. Then in the theatre when i went to see the movie i started absolutely sobbing! I didn't even know how much i loved Dobby up until then! DOBBY IS MY HERO!!!

dobby and neville and bellatrix. the history between the three of them (especially neville and bellatrix) is amazing. all three are incredibly loyal and brave and i love them all to death. bellatrix is more of an i-love-to-hate-you character but she still counts. im am insanely proud of neville (look at how far he has come!) and dobby will forever hold a special place in my heart. he is pure and loyal and strong and brave and everything that i wish i could be. tearing up just thinking about him. :(
