LIKE...SMOG!

True it was with 5 points extra credit, but trust me it's still unbelievably awesome for me.
Right now my math test is proudly hanging on the refrigerator for all to admire.(Again not that I'm bragging).

So, here's where an explanation of my grade is needed. Basically my grade, not as much anymore, but used to have certain...issues (with bullying, etc). It's kinda like you had/have the rich snobbier people, and then there's the rest of us. Within these broad groups of people, there are also smaller groups. Anyway, so on Saturday we were in one of the groups of peoples rooms, and in that room for some reason the richer people had come in, and together they were playing "truth or dare". So, it was a girl from the not rich groups turn, and she's like for her question "what do you (the rich group) think of us?" The rich group then said if we tell you, you have to tell us what you think of us. So, they agreed, and both groups told each other what they think of each other. Everyone then started asking each other what they think of them, and everyone's like "let's all be friends", and we shouldn't have it be like "them" and "us" anymore. It was the sweetest, cutest, most unrealistic thing you'd ever expect to happen. Seriously, you'd have to know my grade to understand, but it was like something out of a cheesey movie.

Then everyone around me and that girl were staring, and like I was just standing there not knowing what to say cause like who the heck says that to someone?! (I mean I knew she didn't mean it like inappropriately, but still) So a girl who was there was then like "____ you don't say that to someone, it's just awkward." So then the girl who said it was like" Let me rephrase that. I decided I really respect you."
The expression: if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it. Well, sometimes if you have something that's a little too nice, then don't say it. I mean I appreciate people's compliments, but uh people USE YOUR JUDGEMENT!

Some background info: So we had to do a project on a book from the list that the teacher assigned. But, really you're supposed to do the one by the guy who founded our school, and who comes to hear the presentations. So, about 90% of my grade who has my English teacher (3 out of 4 classes) did that book. Anyway, you were able to do it in groups, so my group thankfully made a video. This unfortunately still involves speaking, but I figured how bad could it be to read one theme off an index card? Very bad, as it turned out. IT SOUNDED LIKE I WAS GOING TO BURST INTO TEARS! And, I wasn't- like there were no tears welling up or anything overly dramatic like that- but my voice was choked up, like the way you talk when you're about to cry, thereby making it actually difficult to speak. Also, because of that I just wanted to get over it, so I looked up from my index card like twice. And, did I mention this was in front of almost my whole grade, my teacher, my assistant principal, the author, his wife, daughter, granddaughter, and great grand daughter?! Seriously, of everyone else who I heard- I was the worst, no exaggerating! Oh, well we're getting our grades on Monday. :(
Anyway, in the morning we had a freshman orientation, and then later, before lunch we had a orientation for the entire high school. After we..."
!
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!!!
