You actually could add both the audio and print, but if you checked for duplicates, the record would show them as duplicates. You can always choose one or the other and in your review mention that you'd read/listened to the book.

Also, some people read both the paperback and hardcover editions of a book, so it's not just audio editions where this could be an issue for some.

This seems more like a feature than a bug, since after all these are duplicates! (I don't have them all listed yet, but I have US/UK, paper/ebook, and English/French duplicate editions....)
