I am loving this book so far!! The characters are very vivid and the writing format is so engaging. Can't wait to see what happens next! :)

Chapter 14: I'm really intrigued and am dying to know how Thomas is involved in this whole Maze... is he a good guy, is he bad? I think they are making it obvious that he has been there before to some capacity, but how... and what about the girl? Could it be his sister? His friend? Someone that was with him in the Glade before? The suspense is killing me!!
Chapter 27... this book is getting so good. I'm just waiting to see why Thomas is always at the center of it all! I have my suspicions.. so lets see if I'm right! :)

LOL these boys,have been so stuck in this world that they can't see past what is right in front of them.I love Tom. Always trying to do the right thing.

Teresa is a tough one to figure out. Wondering how else this story unravels. Tom is always in the middle!!
Chapter 53... Wow.. this is a crazy story. I love it! I can't put this book down and I have to, I have to get ready to go to the doctors... lol.
I love Thomas so much... his bravery and willingness to volunteer to die and just go through what he's been through for these boys he just met a week ago amazes me, but I get why... he helped create the maze and feels responsible. I love the connection between him and Teresa. It'll be interesting how this book ends. I know I'm going to want to read the next one. :)
Book completed...Love love love this book!!! I couldn't put it down! The journey Tom, Teresa and the others went through just to "escape" had me on puns and needles. Certain parts were pretty predictable, but overall the author I'd a fantastic job at pulling you in through the maze. I was so incredibly sad to see Chuck go and shocked that Gally was there at the end! It makes me wonder what'll happen next. :)

Whoa! This story is like a juggernaut. You feel what Thomas feels even at points when it's clear what is happening you still are taken in and when you think you have it all figured out they throw a wrench in the mix that makes you wonder who is good who's evil & what happened to their world. The anticipation is killing me, Book two please! I can't wait to see where this goes. It's like Hunger Games, The Lost Boys meets Terminator..

I think book 2 in this series will be 1 of the 2 books we read next month. the 3rd & final book comes out in oct. so yay! we can read a series together, if we can wait ;)

And what the heck is up with..."Girl! I felt the same way. At one point I had to stop checking the site cause Abby was reading so fast. I love that they added a girl. The all boys club was getting a little old for my taste

This book is like Lord of the Flies meets The Hunger Games meets Mad Max.
Are they in some jail in space? What is going on?!

The doors didn't close, the grievers got in, and Alby sacrificed himself. This book is so crazy.
Thomas is getting (thisclose) to figuring out the maze. He just asked for wax paper. First time that I get pissed that I couldn't continue reading.
The finale is so close yet I'm still so far. Loving this book!

Done! Read it in a day and a half, plus a night :). (It helps that I don't have any kids). Enjoyed it. I agree with most if not all the comments that you ladies stated.Honestly, I still don't know what's going on. And I've read the first two chapters of the next book. Yikes!

Director Catherine Hardwicke (who brought us the first Twilight movie) has been hired to helm the movie adaptation of The Maze Runner, the science-fiction fantasy novel written by James Dashner. it's the story of a group of teenagers who wake up to find themselves trapped in an ever-changing maze. Scriptwriter Noah Oppenheim is working on the screenplay for now.
