My daughter is getting out the hospital on Monday (tomorrow) and to celebrate we are going to Jim's signing in NYS at B&N TriBeCa on Aug 2nd. I thought it would be funny to bring a bag full of the worn out paperbacks from the rest of the series, but maybe that's not such a good idea.
If it is their work, they will sign it. :) However...there is usually a book limit at a signing event. Some events require that you buy the new hardback at that venue to get others signed as well. Might want to check before you go. Just a suggestion. And I am so jealous!!! He came to my neck of the woods in the past and I was miserably sick and missed him. Next year, I'm just flying and I don't care if I have to go to Turkey, the Arctic, or Akron...I'm going. ;)

I was slow to enjoy the audio of Furies but I hung in there and restarted it, and now have finished the series. It was good but I like Dresden Files better.
Recently started reading Dresden Files series. Loving it so far! On book 4 so far, but cannot wait to keep reading them.

True, but my experience with JB has been awesome. Last year when he came to Seattle for the Changes tour he signed ALL of my books. I brought over 20 of them (Dresden and Alera) in a giant suitcase and waited until the end of his signings. With no problem he took out his pen and signed each book!

Me, too, except I was listening to it and fell asleep. Finishing up tonight.

I tried but I could not get into Furies of Calderon. I think because I had it on audio. It's probably easier to follow in print when you can easily flip back to remind yoursel of something. So I might try it in print when I complete some other stories.
I actually found him by accident when I found bks 2-5 of the Dresden Files books at a thrift store for .25/each. So I ordered Storm Front and loved the series.
