I recently started watching a bunch of TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Sherlock (BBC) and Doctor Who. I watch Project Runway and Top Model a lot.

Obsessed with Supernatural! It is sooo good!

Writing, drawing, painting, sailing, hiking, READING, Greek Mythology and baseball and hockey.

I like writing, reading, hiking, boating, screwing, collecting rare coins, art, Greek Mythology, movies, baseball and hockey.

Couldn't help but smile at this one, especially since the great choreographer George Balanchine (1904-1983) wrote:
"See the music, hear the dance." :-)
My hobbies are writing, acting, sailing, hiking, art, screwing, Greek Mythology, reading, music, movies and gardening.

I play chess, run, and adore my wife and 2 cats. I enjoy travelling and photography (though my wife is much better with a camera than me), and can't wait for a USA road trip that we have planned in September.

I love to do counted cross stitch! and needlepoint, crochet, some knitting. I am trying to learn how to quilt :) I love music and watching telly and films too....

you are just learning to quilt? I am trying to learn on my own....it is the only "sewing" that I don't know how to do! I can embroider with the best of them....but lately...I have read some of a series that follows quilting...and now I want to learn ;)

that is what one of my other friends said! I bet I could teach you....it is really rather easy....I have already taught 4 other people how..:) the most recent thing I learnt was counted cross stitch....my mum taught me after she learnt. my first one...I wanted to be a stamped one...but it ended up being counted...and I was hooked! :)

Me too....plus....the stitching doesn't match exactly where they stamp. I definitely prefer the counted :)
Hi everyone,
I love to read, write stories and songs, play guitar, play soccer, cooking, and traveling. Wishing you all the best!

My hobbies, except from reading? Wine and coffee. I spend way to much time either in a coffee house or a local bar (no, I'm not an alcoholic, it's nice there). And I basically live at my local theatre.

And I also love going early morning walks with my beautiful dog.

@ Victoria- the writing prompts online. That sounds like a really good idea. I often use photography and or different music genres that provoke ideas for my work.

You really sound like a really busy person that knows how to mix things up-in a good way! Love the names of your cats! They are really great companions and so intelligent. With such a schedule, is finding time to curl up with a good book a challenge?

Writing, cooking, organizing, running, camping, crafts, singing, dancing, blogging, movies, Church, roller skating, biking, volunteering (a lot!) And so much more but I won't bore you guys.

I am not a craftsy type of person per se but do knit and would love to learn to crochet but can't get the hang of it. I used to love to do needlepoints but my eyes aren't all that good for that anymore.

TV shows: Law and Order SVU, House, Family Guy, Six Feet Under, American Horror Story and Walking Dead
Movies: Fast and Furious franchise, Amelie, Priest, Winter's Bone, Road to Perdition, Shaun of the Dead, Bad Teacher
Book Genre: Most anything, I'll at least try though there are some that either bore me or just don't pique my interest. For example, anything with vampires, werewolves or ghosts, I read them a lot when I was younger.
As for pets, I have 2 cats and a dog and they are awesome, though I'm biased, I know.

Book Genre: Anything and everything. Being introduced to different authors has piqued my interest in genres that I never gave a second look (romance). I do have a rule that once I start a book I have to finish it.
I am the proud owner of my adopted shelter dog, Lilly. She is a Maltese mix and is the center of my world.

My remaining hobbies are walking the Ozark hills, photography, gardening and raising Nubian dairy goats.
Reading is more than a hobby. It's a love.

Congrats on the book, Karen. Writing is my hobby, and I remembering fondly visiting the Ozarks on a high school wrestling trip YEARS ago!

Well, the most important one (to my mind at least) is I love, love, love reading. lol I also love handcrafts such as crochet, embroidery and cross stitch. I have been trying to learn how to knit, but have found that to be hard. lol I am learning to play the piano and I like playing with my Maltese dog (Dervish) and riding horses. lol In-between all these (lol) I have to work. :( not fun

I also love jigsaw puzzles but I have 2 cats so finding a cat-free zone to do my puzzles is impossible at the moment :( But I love my cats so I can make my peace with that :)

The other things that take up my time are hockey, vintage/antiques and animal rescue. I've loved hockey since I was 3 years old, grew up in a completely hockey obsessed family and spent my days at the rink.
I'm heavily involved with animal rescue whether its volunteering for groups or finding an animal in need on my own. I used to work in Detroit and finding a starving, abused, mange/flea bitten animal was a weekly occurrence.
Currently I'm unemployed but its not making me too sad since I get to spend most days babysitting my one year old nephew, Landon. I know I'm biased but he really is the cutest baby you ever saw in your life ;)
I'm selling vintage clothing for pocket money which doesn't amount to much since I keep most of what I find for myself lol. Show me a dress or furniture from the 30s-50s and I'm a goner :P

And I also like to write books, short stories,... :)

And I love discovering books by unfamiliar writers and discussing them with others who do as well!
