<3 Shakespeare & Co? In Paris? That is the most magnificent place in the whole world. I spent hours in that place. I went there this time last year, and we stayed in a hotel less then 1K away. I was in that shop almost every single night. I was trying to save money, so I only brought one book: A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon.

Just last week I bought a bunch of books from the new local bookstore in town which sells second-hand books which are still in good condition. I'm so lucky I found a hardbound copy of The Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke for only 75 pesos (approx $1.73). That was the best buy I ever had.

Unwind was one of the scariest books I have ever read. Fantastic, but terrifying.

Since I purchased my Kindle I've been reading around two books a week. I just finished Tempest and Lost in the Bayou and LIE. I'm in heaven reading YA! Next up are all the wonderful recommendations that I find on this GoodReads group.

Just went shopping and convinced my Dad to buy me Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones! As with all of Hayao Miyazacki's Movies (these are japanese animations such as Sprited Away, Ponyo, Grave of the Fireflies and Princess Mononoke), I loved the film adaption, and have been looking out for the book for ages!

The movie's is completely different from the book. A lot darker,and Howl is a completely different charecter. However, despite the variation, I love both book and movie for being different and really reccommend both of them!

Agreed! My dvd of Sprited Away doesn't work anymore because I've watched it so many times.
