EAUIFGJKBJDKHLKDASH!!!

<3 Shakespeare & Co? In Paris? That is the most magnificent place in the whole world. I spent hours in that place. I went there this time last year, and we stayed in a hotel less then 1K away. I was in that shop almost every single night. I was trying to save money, so I only brought one book: A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon.

Speaking of poetry, did anyone hear that there's a new Shel Silverstein book? I'm really happy.

message 66: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I went to the Borders closing sale (finally). It's so sad in there! And it's really hard to find stuff because they've given up on putting it where it belongs.

But I got Arrow's Flight by Mercedes Lackey for about 3 dollars.

Mayze I also went to a Borders today...one that was pretty far away from home.

I got Alanna: The First Adventure and Ender's Shadow

Liar by Justine Larbalestier
I technically didn't buy it myself, but at my school this year we have a book club and the teacher in charge (who's also our librarian) got everyone copies and we're giving her the money for 'em.

message 72: by Mia Claire (new)

Mia Claire | 142 comments Just last week I bought a bunch of books from the new local bookstore in town which sells second-hand books which are still in good condition. I'm so lucky I found a hardbound copy of The Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke for only 75 pesos (approx $1.73). That was the best buy I ever had.

3. Tangled by Carolyn Mackler ($1.99)
4. Bumped by Megan MaCafferty ($0.99)
5. Delirium by Lauren Oliver ($2.99)

For those books I don't know how long the sale is.

The movie's is completely different from the book. A lot darker, and Howl is a completely different charecter. However, despite the variation, I love both book and movie for being different and really reccommend both of them!
