Must have missed that one! sounds good (and a lovely cover!) - worth a go, I reckon.Mind you, it's joining rather a long queue of TBRs

I bought it when she reduced it recently, but no idea when I will get to read it.
I gave up on Crime in the Community at 26%, no idea what to read next though.

Give Only the Innocent a go, it's starts off well enough...!
I really enjoyed Only the Innocent as well Mark. Read The BriefcaseA very good short read and yes.I guessed the end!
Also read The Last Busker in London and Other Stories by Garry Crystal. Very Gritty Xmas story.
Finished Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees a Victorian Christmas romance which was okay.
just started
still got to finish a Daisy Dalrymple which will be stolen back by the library before i have finished it if i don't get a wriggle on!
Oh, I forgot to add that I'd finished Paul Fenton's Natural Deselection which was, as always with his books, excellent. Still not on here yet (after 2 whole days!) Reviewed on http://www.ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk...
Just finished Donna's fab new book
and just started Lee Carey's book Pets in Paradise. Helping to ease the pain of losing Sammy a lot at the moment.
:-)
Finished Seeker Of Stars terrific novella about one of the three 'wise men'. Loved it!Also read As They Slept
I'm now reading The Dickson McCunn Trilogy, I've nearly finished the first story, Huntingtower which I have read before but I'm still enjoying it. I would really recommend this, it's a charming tale, written in the early 1920s so some attitudes reflect the times, but otherwise it is a charming tale of Dickson McCunn, retired, romantic shop owner and a bunch of ragamuffins called the Gorbals Die Hards. I love the humourous way that it is written. I've never read the other two books in the trilogy - so I hope that they are just as good.

Just finished (for the second time!) The Man From U.N.D.E.A.D.'s Christmas Carol which Darren Humphries says will be free over the next few days. look out for it - it's a winner.http://ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk/201... for a review.
Last night I started and finished (it's quite short) The Inbetween by Sue Kendrick. She's on our Author threads. It's a nice, slightly magical tale for this time of year, taking place in a great hall at the time of Yule. 4* review. Nicely written too, in an antique style.
Finished the disappointing The Man from Beijing and started the much more promising Blind Goddess - but just rereading (my own Christmas tradition) Dylan Thomas's beautiful A Child's Christmas in Wales set in my childhood hometown, Swansea. Aah.
Karen wrote: "Finished the disappointing The Man from Beijing and started the much more promising Blind Goddess - but just rereading (my own Christmas tradition) Dylan Thomas's beautiful A Child's Christmas in ..."Dave reads A Child's Christmas in Wales to me every year around christmas time.
Magic.
Just finished Alan McDermott's Gray Redemption. Wonderful climax to a great trilogy of books - very exciting too in parts! If I were a nail-biter I'd be up to me elbows!Gray Redemption

Wd love to hear it read by someone with a Welsh accent. Truly magic.
Thanks Ignite! I didn't realise the final part had been released. That's my holiday read sorted.Just finished The Man From U.N.D.E.A.D.'s Christmas Carol Really enjoyed it even though this is not my usual genre. Thanks Darren!
Tonight I will read Dickens original!
Just finished Weekend in Weightonby Terry Murphy. This is a scream. It's a private detective story but one like you've never read before. I loved it. I've given it a 5* review and after the hols I'll pop it on my blog. Off to play and sing carols just now! Merry Jollies to all!
Finished Creepy Christmaswhich was a seasonal read with a difference being that it had Anti-Claus as thee baddie! Also reread A Christmas Carol
Just read Ice Diaries by Lexi Revellian. Excellent story, well told.http://www.ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk...
Still not sure what to read next. Might see how long it takes Simon to get the freebies to me!
I've just read Soul Mate, was OK, but there were a few typos. Not sure what i am going to read next, am not sure I will meet my reading challenge for this year.
Still dipping in and out of things - finished reading Huntingtower in the The Dickson McCunn Trilogy and loved it, finding it hard going with the next though, bit more stodgy and starts with an in depth description of a rugby match *yawn*. Broke off then to read a couple of romances from the kindle sale, Once upon a Christmas (nice and soppy) and Perfecting Fiona - nice, light, easy reads. Now about to start the next in the School for Manners series, Enlightening Delilah

Started a Ken McClure book last night - already 46% in. Great story, spoilt for me by the naff way it's been enkindled. Words broken in the middle - im-possible and con-fusing. There are too often missing quotation marks which in conversations makes it very strange and you need to re-read to see who's talking. An indie would have checked!
I finished
by Diane Chamberlain yesterday morning. The Good Father is a gripping, touching and thought-provoking read. The three main characters are Travis, Robin and Erin and each of the chapters in the novel is narrated by one of these characters. Some of the chapters do jump from the present to the past but I thought the story was still easy to follow. Some parts of the story were very unrealistic and far-fetched and the ending of the novel was a bit of a letdown as I thought it was very predictable. It really seemed like the author had rushed out an ending just to make a deadline. I gave this one 3 stars. My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Now I'm about to start
by Sanjay Gupta. I heard this novel is going to be turned into a TV series similar to ER. It sounded like a TV show I'm be interested in watching so I decided to read the book.
Finished reading M C Beaton's school for manners series and am now reading Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist. All nice, lighthearted fun reads. I read Agatha in ones and twos, otherwise I get fed up with them. In small doses like that, I enjoy them.

I only got to 57% before I literally had to give it up because I kept falling asleep.
Just finished Ken McClure's The Trojan Boy- disappointingly transferred to kindle. Old line breaks shows by hyphen-ated words - missing quotation marks. Pretty poor - story not bad but spoilt.Just about to start The 24 Hour Jazz Cafe - free with thanks to our Jamie Sinclair.
Terrific book Ignite, hope you enjoy it!Finished Gray RedemptionVery action packed but I wish I had reread the previous books first as I kept getting confused(probably more to do with my state of mind than the book) :@)
Then read Mel's short story Santa's VirginWhich was very heart warming.
just finished re-reading my favourite book that has just been released as a kindle book. it was the first book that i read that really had an impact on me emotionally and i am so happy that it is finally out on kindle - just need the rest of the series to be issued too...
Just finished Furious. It was well written and entertaining, but it was also the literary equivalent of 'the flashbacks episode' in a US TV series. So I only gave it 3 stars. Shame, cos it's been months waiting for it, and it'll be a year till the next one in the series comes out.
Started and finished Love Travels Forever Thouroughly enjoyed this collection of short stories, heart warming and thought provoking!
I finished reading a book I last read twenty years ago, “Watchers” by Dean Koontz. I believe my intense love for animals began after I first read that book. A movie was made from the book, but the movie was so different, I didn’t care for it at all.I also read, "A Miracle For Charlie", by Carolann Hays...it's a short story, and I loved it. I am following her very closely, and have read everything she has written so far. I can't wait for her next book.
Just finished
. Unique and well written, wholly satisfying conclusion. Recommended. Buy/Read locally!
