Just finished - just started
I finished reading Precious and the Monkeys which was charming, but it's fairly short and is aimed at children. It's one that I must save to read to the grandkids next time I see them though.
Now I'm reading The Duke And I which I've had on my kindle for several months (I'm trying to read some of my older downloads). It's very pleasant and enjoyable tosh.

I just finished Sourcery which was very good :o) although part of me hopes it isn't the end of Rincewind I want him to keep appearing in the stories. Now I am starting Right Dress, Wrong Girl
Just finished The Book Thief, started but gave up on The Fashion Police. Not sure what to start next, but am off to bed to choose!!

I quite enjoyed Fashion Police, but I preferred the second book in the series (which I read first) Be Careful What You Wish For.
Hope you find something to suit your mood.

I finished Right Dress, Wrong Girl and so started our Mel's Cruel Justice #1 It's really good!! I can't believe I haven't read one of her books before!
At 60ish% I've finally decided to put The Slap on hold after struggling for about a month to finish it. I've stopped and started with it, read so many short stories in between. Even read cookery books (which aren't exactly riveting bedtime reading), and I've also read a bunch of samples from my 160+ list of them. I'll finish it some day, I just don't know when.Just started A Hole in the World. At 16% and I love it. I've had it on my kindle for months and am kicking myself that I haven't read it before now.
Finished Tom Fleck An exceptionally good book.Started and finished The ShelterThen Kindle ran out of charge, will choose next book when it recovers.
I knew you'd love Tom Fleck Sarah. I read my kindle while it's on charge. There's a socket behind my chair!
I've finished The Duke And I which was quite enjoyable and lighthearted, but the author needs to study Georgette Heyer to get her facts right!
Now I'm reading My Word is My Bond: The Autobiography which I'm really enjoying - I like reading memoirs and some of his tales have made me laugh.
I'm having a run on reading stuff which has been on my kindle for a few months!

I've just finished The Whispers of Nemesiswhich I bought when it was an amazon daily deal and enjoyed it. Also To the Moon and Back which I bought from the Xmas sale also enjoyed, now starting Breaking the Silence another from the Xmas sale.
I just finished Lipstick and Knickers it's hilarious, everyone should read it. Edit: I've just started Wyrd Sisters and so far it is my favourite in the series
This morning I finished Sister - Rosamund Lupton. Now I am going back to Trophy Taker, The - Lee Weeks.
Just started Stuart Ayris' Tollesbury Time Forever. Not very far in but it's brilliant - fascinating, poetic, all the stuff I love!
Just finished Ghost of a Smile & Forsaken, both were good. Hope, once again, to start Night Stalker by Chris Carter & Cavalier by Lucy Worsley.
I missed the live event last night (sorry Lorraine & DD)I did sit down to follow it, but then my tea was ready & after that I fell asleep. This meant I was wide awake at silly o'clock which is probably the reason why I managed to read Lipstick and Knickers , Trial by Fury (A Righteous Novella) and Passion, Fire and Fury last night.
No problem Janet, there'll be other ones xxx Hope you're getting better, I missed you on Thursday night, hope it wasn't because you were still poorly x
Lorraine - feelin' rather lovin' wrote: "No problem Janet, there'll be other ones xxx Hope you're getting better, I missed you on Thursday night, hope it wasn't because you were still poorly x"Yes still coughing......can't visit dad as he has banned me until I'm germ free.

Oh no Janet, here I'll share some of my immune system with you, I've managed to avoid all the tough scot's colds this winter (so far!), so it must be pretty strong.
You are so lucky Jud,everyone I know has had it,like Janet Hubbies been poorly since before Christmas.
So... have just finished 'Snowdrops' and 'Leopard' AND, more importantly... ta ra ra.... the SPROUT JIGSAW (or, if you turn it over, which I did, carefully, the BAKED BEAN JIGSAW.)Enjoyed all three.
anyone wanting a sprout/bean jigsaw, I might have one for you...
Sorry... just started... well, I've had Shardlake and 'Sovereign' on my TBR for a while, so it's indulgence time, now that I've just finished the box of Thornton's chocs (with help...)
Finished Amsterdam which I enjoyed. Wryly amusing and short (always good with my short term memory and attention span). Also read Protector which I'd read years ago. I seem to be re-reading quite a bit of the SciFi I enjoyed when I was in my 20s.
In that vein I'm currently in the middle of
Blood Music which is good but a very disappointingly full of typos ebook version.

I enjoyed Snowdrops too. Quite thought provoking. I've also read a couple of Jo Nesbo's, The Redbreast, and Nemesis. Loved them.
Started and finished Breakfast at Tiffany's. Genius - a tiny time capsule. Glad I hadn't seen the film beforehand.Oops - I don't think there's a Kindle edition - I borrowed it from DIL.
I started http://www.amazon.co.uk/11-22-63-eboo... on the flight. I'm loving every word. Stephen King seems back to his old self with this one. Totally pulled into the story. Great stuff.
I just finished Wyrd Sisters which was very amusing, each book just gets better and better (or else I understand the humour more and more). I have just started one of the group reads, cause I forgot about them, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
Just finished The Night Stalker by Chris Carter. I waited for this book to come down in price but as it didn't I ended up paying full, it was well worth every penny. Just started The Night Circus, am only 10% in but enjoying it up to now.
Just finished A Hole in the World. Love it and it also counts towards my challenge ;-). Now reading What Was Lost, got this in the sale before Christmas. Liking it so far.So jealous you are reading The Night Circus Anita. I read the sample and really want to read the book. Thought it was a wee bit pricey though and have been watching it closely the last few weeks for a price drop. Sadly though it's going the wrong way and has had TWO price increases in the last couple of weeks.
It is looking good Maureen, I would gladly lend it you if I could. That is the one draw back with Kindles. It should drop soon as it is a while since I bought it.If you like things like Night Circus have you read Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell ? I loved it, I don't know if it is on kindle but I do have my paperback copy which I will lend you with pleasure.
Yes I did read that one Anita and loved it too ;-).I think the paperback edition of Night Circus is due out in June this year, so the kindle price will probably drop then (if I can wait that long).
Thats not too far away, the speed at which the weeks fly past it will be here in the blink of an eye.
Just finished Pop Goes the Weasel and just started Roses are Red by James Patterson - have a suspicion I have read this one before too, cant wait for the ones I haven't read.
Georgette Heyer is brilliant. Well worth studying to see how to do write historical fiction. It's ironic that for years she was dismissed as light weight.
Just finished The Keepby F. Paul Wilson. Not good and could have done with being half the length. Just started Cellar Doorwhich is a pleasure to read after ploughing through the keep.
