Tonight I finished Angels Dawn - Komali da Silva. Now I think I am going to read Confessions of a Bookseller - Robin Soma-Dudley.
Debbie wrote: "I've read your book. In one day! Amazing!"Thanks so much, Debbie. And many thanks too for your GR and Zon review :-) I'm working on both the prequel and sequel to Lesbian Crushes and Bulimia currently, so definitely 'to be continued' ...
I like the description for Double Six, am quite intrigued now. That's next up after my current read (Pages for You by Sylvia Brownrigg).
Natasha (Diarist) wrote: "Thanks so much, Debbie. And many thanks too for your GR and Zon review :-) I'm working on both the prequel and sequel to [book:Lesbian Cru..."You're more than welcome. Reviews are so important, and pain-free when it's something worth reading and reviewing! I hope you'll enjoy Double Six. I must admit I tend to write about whatever takes my fancy, so the identity of my characters (including their gender and sexuality) is kind of by chance!

Just finished A 1980s Childhood: From He-Man to Shell Suits enjoyable quick read, now starting Blue Monday not read any of her books before but my Mum really likes them, so that's good enough for me.
Shaun Jeffrey's 'Killers' is a very dark detective story that I enjoyed a lot, check out my review here:

I'm now onto

Always!
I've just read the 2nd nicci french and i thought it was better than the 1st,it seems as tho she has settled into her writing.I finished The Redeemed and started Fall From Grace An Inspector Mc Levy Mystery, but it's not gripping me,so i'm going to start Birdman and then go back to fall from grace.
Just finished Ballroom, Bars and Seawater Baths. Very good story - it's a sequel so you'd probably get more out of it if you're read the first. Will review over the weekend.Just about to start Agency Woman by John A A Logan.
Finished re-reading Patricia Highsmith's wonderful Ripley books, with Ripley Under Water as a suitably menacing finale. And I will never eat lobster again (Tom's descriptions, especially re micro waving) So felt like a complete change and picked A Year in Provence out of the TBR pile. Still France, still lots of food. I know it was 'big' in its day, and it's OK so far, some good characters, but it'll have a bit to do to rival Driving over Lemons: An Optimist in Andalucia
Managed to read a fair bit this weekend. Finished The One You Love and Our Little Secret,
read and finished The Stolen Child and Enid Blyton; Biography of
and started One Deadly Sister and Crying Shame
Review for Ballroom, Bars and Seawater Baths Very good sequel.http://ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk/201...
Also a book I can't find on here - called Deceiving Ellie - really intriguing!

Well, she wasn't maternal and packed her kids off to boarding school, but did work with children to understand them. She wrote a lotore books than I realized, at one point she was averaging one a week
Just finished Blue Monday and The Gods of Guilt both absolutely excellent. Now starting Capital I have noticed I have books in my kindle account that I bought over a year ago and still have not got round to reading even though I am still buying new books. I have now decided I must start reading some of the older books on my list.
Desley (Cat fosterer) wrote: "Well, she wasn't maternal and packed her kids off to boarding school, but did work with children to understand them."I didn't realise she had kids of her own (if only on a part-time basis).

I remember someone saying Alison Uttley (of Little Grey Rabbit fame) was none too keen on children either

Just finish Catherine Bailey's The Secret Rooms, an odd expose of one of the Dukes of Rutland and his archive. Still working my way through Ngaio Marsh and trying to decide what else to read next.
I've posted my review for David Niall Wilson's excellent and provocative
an excellent read:http://thecultofme.blogspot.co.uk/201...
I'm now onto
I have just finished the wonderful Shattered Edge - A.M. Hargrove. Now I am going to read either Chasing Anya - Jayda McTyson or Kissing Fire - A.M. Hargrove.
Just finished The Opera House by Hans M. Hirschi - it knocked me sideways. I'm adding another author to my ever-growing list of favourite authors here! Not sure on the 'Just starting' yet. I do have a book that I started, but I'm seeing how it goes. However I did start and finish David E. Manuel's new short story in around two hours. It's not on here yet, but it's called 'Sudden Addiction' and you can find it here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00II0ODCK... - it's ever so good!
Currently reading
- not bad for a book that caught my eye from a sample! This was after reading
- a series I read about 4 years ago on holiday, and thought I'd better re-aquaint myself with, as I have the next book (
) on pre-order for the Kindle.
This week I have finished a Cecilia, a David and a Rosen and they were all worth 6 stars.Kindle reading has certainly brought an extra dimension to my reading. Long live Indies :)
And now I'm about to start something that nobody has read yet ;p
Just started The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. It's kinda Robin Hood meets Oliver Twist, with a huge dash of Ocean's 11. Loving it so far. Listening to the Audible edition, narrated by Michael Page. (and yes, one of the characters is a dead ringer for Fagin!)
Just finished Agency Woman by John A A Logan and The Undertaker's Cabinet by David Haynes. Both excellent and each rather different! I like a change!
Now reading Alice Parker's Metamorphosis - a YA story and absolutely charming!
Started A Dangerous Thing by Josh Lanyon last night. Now 34% of the way in and need to stop reading!
I've just started
. It's a time travel book, apparently with a difference. It's quite funny so far and only 49p. It went off long term free 2 days before I found out about it. Just as well I'm not tight hahaha.
Just finished reading Capital, it was OK, not overly enthralled by it & also have 2 others of his books to read. Think I will now start The Shadow Project
Just finished
Not her best by a long way, but as a fan of Poirot I found it extremely poignant.
Started
Acquired it at the recent get-together in Biggleswade. Thanks, Mary! Enjoying its madcap feel.
I have just finished Kissing Fire - A.M. Hargrove. Now I am about to read 12th of Never - James Patterson.

I've heard of theatre of the absurd, theatre of cruelty and all that, but not theatre of the terminus.
