Karen Metcalf | 5 comments IN THE STORM novella seems to have incorrect ISBN numbers, and won't link to other sites. How do I get this corrected?

The paperback links up properly at B&N and Amazon. (I get this and this.)

The Kindle edition brings up the right edition on Amazon, and the two ebook editions bring up the B&N editions.

Are there additional editions/ISBNs?

vicki_girl | 2764 comments Can you provide a link to the specific book? "In the Storm" is popular title.

Karen Metcalf | 5 comments Rivka posted the correct links to "In the Storm". The original problem was that the Sony Readers store said that it would link to goodreads, but the ISBN is wrong and it does not show any of my ratings. My publisher told me that the Reader store has the correct information, it was Goodreads that was incorrect. I had no idea how to verify or correct this.

The Sony ebooks has a different ISBN. I created another edition with that ISBN.

Karen Metcalf | 5 comments Thank you so much rivka! Do you know if the Sony store will automatically link?

Every user can customize their links. So it's up to the user to select that link or not for their custom list.

Karen Metcalf | 5 comments I contacted the Sony readers store and they said that goodreads provides their ratings to the Reader store, so I still don't know how to link the ratings to the information displayed on the reader store.

You might try the "contact us" link on the help page. As far as I know, given that we have an edition with that ISBN, and it is combined with all the other editions, reviews/rating should be going out to all GR partners.

Cathy Pegau (cathyinak) | 2 comments Hi,
I'm trying to add the ISBN to the data page for my book Rulebreaker (ISBN 978-1-4268-9199-1) but I get an error saying that number already belongs to another book. What do I do?
Thanks!

Not sure what was up with that (searching on Amazon with that ISBN also brought up the Kindle edition, which implies that Amazon had the ISBN linked to that edition in some odd way), but I successfully imported that ISBN/edition from B&N.

This edition of Rulebreaker has that ISBN number, which edition were you trying to change?

Strike that, yay for posting at almost the same time!

Look up one post. ;)

Cathy Pegau (cathyinak) | 2 comments Hi Rivka and Vicky,
I wasn't sure what was going on either. When I was on my book's page and copied over the ISBN it gave me the error. No idea what I may have done to confuse it. And myself. Maybe I was trying to change something it already knew? That is probable :)
Anyway, if it works, it works.
Thanks a bunch!

Karen Metcalf | 5 comments Sony incorporated my ratings FYI, thanks so much Rivka!!

Cool! Any idea how long it was from when we created the edition with their ISBN (July 20) until the reviews/ratings showed up there?
