Philip Whiteland - the man behind Josiah and Archibald (which makes it sound like we're in a queue!)

So it does! Thanks for letting me know, Alicia. I'll try again :-)
Got it.Interesting - so many people are horrible with roundabouts. Especially if they go the opposite way than you are used to, due to not driving on the right side of the road.
I learned them (called glorietas) when I learned to drive in Mexico City - once you can drive there, you can drive almost everywhere else. Except possibly India.

Sounds like a story in its own right :-)
Talk about the law of diminishing returns! I've just been looking at the monthly totals for sales of my books. For May, it goes like this:2011-2012 391
2012-2013 355
2013-2014 76
2014-2015 24
2015-2016 11
2016-2017 10
The interesting thing is that, in 2011-2012, I only had one title on sale and sold 391 copies, now I have four titles and I struggle to make double figures. Can I have a time machine, please? ;-)
I see there's talk of Stoke becoming a City of Culture! I had some thoughts on this topic a few months back:http://philwhiteland.blogspot.co.uk/2...

Well I was only 6 weeks old at the time, so my map-reading skills weren't as finely honed as they are now.
Well 6 weeks previous to that, you managed to find your way out of a dark place into the light - with no map at all!! :-)

Probably a bit like Jeremy Corbyn is feeling at the moment...... pushed out of office! :-)
Gingerlily - Mistress Lantern wrote: "Did someone slap him and make him cry?"He does have that appearance, doesn't he?
Gingerlily - Mistress Lantern wrote: "Well would you be laughing in his position?"I'm not sure that I know his position, do you??
I've been trying this new Amazon Instant Preview lark on my blog - www.philwhiteland.blogspot.co.uk Has anyone else tried this?
