message 789: by Philip (new)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Hi Emma. Thanks for all of the great work you've done so far. I wish I had your talent! I particularly like Celany (the Southern Belle) and Thunder.

I think it might be useful if you had the synopsis of the whole book so that you can get a fuller picture of the various characters. I can't think of a way of getting the document to you easily, so I think the best way is if you go to my out of date and decrepit web site at www.philwhiteland.co.uk (which I can't update any longer) - there you'll find an email address for me. If you send me an email, I'll reply with the synopsis attached.

Thanks again for all of the hard work. Thanks also to everyone here for their comments. It's becoming quite a co-operative effort isn't it?

message 790: by Emma (new)

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments OK, synopsis received and I have emailed Philip a new Agnes. I quite like getting everyones opinon so without giving too much away...... Agnes needed to be younger. Let me know what you think

message 794: by Philip (new)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Good stuff, isn't it! It's really interesting to see how someone else visualises the characters.

Not really at the moment. The best I can say is it will be later this year. I need to reformat all of the text and do some final editing, which will take some time.

The interest in this has rather surprised and overtaken me, so I haven't really planned anything out.

There's no answer to that, as the late lamented Eric Morecambe would have said. I think the only two other characters that need to be illustrated would be the Judge (who I thought of as a sort of Colonel Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken type) and the hero.
