Lilly let out a sigh of relief, hoping Peter didn't recognize it meant she was happy that Ryan had finally left.

Lillian sighed and laid down on her back, staring up at the sky. "You know," she spoke softly, "I know that I have a true purpose now, but it doesn't really feel like it."
She didn't look at him, she just kept staring up at the sky. "I was sent down here with no purpose in particular. Now that I'm a guardian angel though, I have a purpose but... But I still feel kinda lost." she took a sad sigh, "But I guess can't ask you to understand..."
"No you can't..." he trailed off. "Everyone gets lost. I know the feeling..." he held out his hand for her.
Lilly sighed and stood there. She didn't know what to say to Peter. What do you say to someone who you'll spend the rest of their life with, but they don't even like you? Could she even consider him a friend? Thinking of all this was very depressing to her, and she let it show on her face- not caring if he'd notice or not.He probably wouldn't...
She gasped in surprise, but still quick to hug back. A hug? From him? Was she dreaming? She discreetly pinched herself to check. Yep! she thought as she felt it This is real! She couldn't help but smile at him."Thank you." she said softly, "I needed that."
Peter closed his eyes, patting her back. "Well, I guess if ya need more. I'll be here... For obviose reasons." he chuckeled before pulling away.
Her eyes widened and her smile grew. "Really?" she squealed excitedly, "That's fantastic! Thank you thank you!" she laughed happily.
Peter smiled slightly, nodding. "Hey, can I... Ask ya something?" he asked, running a hand through his hair.
"Because, all angels have a certain job to do. I was just one of the many many angels who were sent with a job on Earth. Maybe in a long long number of years I'll be pulled back up to Heaven, but for now I'm doing my duty." she explained.
"Were you meant to be a guardian?" he asked, sticking his hands into his pockets and pressed his lips lightly together.
"Somewhere like where?" he said, eyeing her as he took a short steph back. Fearing the thoughts of his feet leaving the ground again.
She rolled her eyes. "You're so stubborn." she sighed, running and swooping him up into the air, "I thought we might go to some cool place filled with wildlife, or something like that."
Lilly flew up high, but not high enough for him to get too cold or loose oxygen. She also flew fast enough to reach a nearby meadow in less then 10 minutes, but not fast enough to endanger her "passenger"."Alrighty!" she said when they finally reached their destination, setting him on the ground, "Hey, you didn't freak out that time! Good job!"
Lillian tucked in her wings, wearing a proud smile. "I told you I would help you get over your fear!" she said happily, skipping around the tall flowers.
Peter watched her, his expression slightly exastaued, but didnt say anything. Honestly there was no place he'd rather be right now.
She grinned sweetly at him, beckoning for him to come and run through the blossoms with her. As she sprinted around, her light blonde hair whipped and trailed around her face. She giggled and laughed and hummed, feeling like she was the happiest she'd been in a long time.
She cocked her head to the side to smirk at him. "Come on," she said, raising her eyebrows, "If you don't get those legs moving, I'll move them fo~oor yooooouu!" she sang.
"Now you do!" she called back, running around behind him and tackling him off his feet. She snapped out her wings once again before they hit the ground, moving them so they were both skimming along the surface of the meadow at lightening speed.
