I think its a myth. People have been saying the world is gonna end for years and it hasn't happened.
I don't think it'll happen. But my family and I make jokes about it, like, "Too bad you won't graduate before we all die, Thalia." "Yeah, that's unfortunate." Or when we realize a bad movie will come out in 2013. "Well, good thing it won't exist anyway, since we'll all be dead."Witty banter, hahaha.
Like the wisest people say, 'the world has been ending since the day it began'. It won't be some huge bang and everything will be destroyed. :/ But, I mean, Earth as we know it won't last forever either.
Me and some friends make fun of it too. That Friday chick is releasing an album on the day the world is supposed to end so we'll be like, "Now we know why the world is gonna end." Or well say, "The Mayans were lazy and ran out of paper."
The world is going to end one day. But nobody knows when.
Of course it is, but there's not gonna be a specific date.

With pollution and toxic waste..ugh we R KILLING OUR PLANET!!
We are, but there's those people that don't try and help save our planet while there's people who are working really hard to save it

Well, that's what global warming is.When you think that human interaction is killing everything and that if humans did better jobs of "taking care" than our world would last forever.
That's the sort of thing I don't believe is true. I don't think I'm evil because I use plastic bags (and save them). I don't think I'm evil because I sometimes forget to recycle. That sort of thing drives me nuts.
Global warming, I think, is a problem but not as big of a problem as they say it is, at least not now
I say that there is no such thing as global warming, but that we have a part to play on earth's downfall. Just think about it, if humans didn't exist, Earth would be a flowery plantlike place. And it would last longer
Global warming is exaggerated x1000. I even did a report on it in 7th grade. I mean yeah, we need to take care of our planet, but it's not like the sea level is gonna rise 100 feet anytime soon. Think about, it's kind of ridiculous.
Well, I actually wrote a research paper on it, and I say that it's more than likely a myth. Sure, the world will end, but it won't end in 2012.
double agreed;) I seriously don't get why people believe this stuff. Like Lina said above it will end one day and that one day could be any day
Total myth. How can we predict the day the world will end? It doesn't make any sense. A guy said that on May 21 the rapture would occur; it didn't. From what I understand everyone's still here.
My sister-in-law said somebody said, "They announced the day wrong. It'll be October 21st, not May."I was just like..."Nice cover."
Haha. Yeah. There's no way to predict an exact date, although I do believe that the time for the rapture is quickly approaching. It's just a feeling...
I just hope that if it is true, that there'll be chocolate on the other side XD
Myth.I act like I think it'll actually happen though. Like Thalia said up there. I do the whole, "Ha, ha, ha. 2013. Doesn't matter. We'll all be dead by then!" But then my parents get mad because I freak out my little sibs.

Myth. But funnily enough, I have a friend who thinks it's real. It's hysterical to watch her freak out about it.

I dont think its true some day the world will end just not right now the sun hasent gone out yet what else could happen. By the time the world dose end we will have colinised mars or at least the plant 200,000,000 miles away that i have heard so much about!
