SOLVED. Green slime attacks cruise ship [s]

I had this book in the mid to late nineties, it had a wheres wally (waldo) style over double page spreads and from what I can remember it was about a cruise ship that gradually gets attacked by a ever growing green slime. On each page the cruise ship is cross sectioned so that you can see inside each compartment and the spread of this mutant green slime taking over the ship. It was just a picture book from memory and the illustrations were similar Martin Handfords.
This is a long shot but its really nagging me

(There was a board game, too, far as I recall)


And there's naturally the '68 movie.
