When I got home though, the lamp that I had on my nightstand was at the foot of my bed. So I assume Canton must have felt it quite a bit.

My cousins and I all grew up thinking my grandmother's name was "Goddamnit, Eleanor!" ;)
Congrats on 29 years and on the trip to Maui!

So we decided to go this year. Actually, it ended up working out better. Our youngest daughter was doing a semester abroad in London (she goes to Boston University). So we were able to see her while she was in London. Fantastic vacation! The weather was sunny and warm the whole time we were there (except it rained the night before we left to return home).

Cool, Karen. We love London as well. I especially love "Billy Elliott."

Why did they have to fuck with Medicare in the Bush years? Why not have all coverage under the same "umbrella," and allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices???!

My mom is dealing with similar issues with my Grandma's coverage. Stupid insurance companies, like people don't have enough to worry about already.

Depends on the day and the traffic, but it's generally 1.5- 2 hours to drive 32 miles. Thank you, Northern VA. We rank second only to NYC for traffic.

Thank god for books on tape. However, if I manage to get this job I am interviewing for tomorrow, my commute will be cut by more than half.
