Hi everybody. Does anyone have any ideas for team names yet?

I was thinking about the monster theme mixed with song titles for team names myself like, Shifters in the Night or Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun or Gypsies, Vamps and Thieves. Something like that.

I played bingo (we were the G.L.O.B., gorgeous ladies of bingo) in round one so if this is everyone's first time playing I will volunteer to be team captain. However, if someone else wants it, I won't mind.

I'm also great with Cristina as team leader.

And Yay! Game Board! I am super slow at work and alone in the office today. I can make myself a list. I don't want to grab a book for another challenge and find out it's the only book I own for one of the shelves.

I think we should let KarenF weigh in before we make our final decision on team name.

Oh different shelves. The Post-Apocolyptic one worries me. I don't really care for those kind of books. I hope I don't have to read a book that I really, really don't want to read for this. Let me go look at the lists.

Well that post apocolyptic shelf is really short. But I see the In Death books by JD Robb are shelved that way by someone. I can get one of those from the library if it's called.

Oh, and I love Gypsies, Vamps & Thieves. I actually have that song on my i-pod and I blast it in the car. I love cheesy early Cher! Sorry to get it stuck in everyone's head who doesn't want it.

I've printed out our bingo card and I'm nearly done making a list of 10-20 books for each possible shelf that I might be inclined to read.

I was bored at work today and I made a bigger game board. I wrote in each block the books I have that fit. I'm doing an erotica challenge that starts tomorrow and am hoping to find erotica/hot romance for most of the shelves. They're worth the most pts.

That shouldn't be too hard for most of the shelves Mary. Although, the Male Authors shelf is the one I seem to have the least number of books available. Lots of mystery/thriller books, not a lot else!

While not erotica or even kinda smutty, I really enjoy Neil Gaiman's books and most of his works are on that shelf. He writes mostly modern fantasy. Just a thought...

I have several here to choose from. I'm not worried! Depending on when in the game it's called, I may read The Gargoyle. I've had a copy for a couple of years, but never read it yet!

I get pts for non-erotica too-it's just that erotica books are worth the most, followed by hot romance and then other genres and the little series romances worth the least. It's an erotica themed challenge. But there's also a prize for most books read and most pages.

If the male author shelf gets called then I'll probably read a Jim Butcher, Alexander McCall Smith, Mike Carey or Neil Gaiman-depending on my mood. I have one from all of them. Plus a few other male authors on the list. I don't happen to have any erotica written by a man. But that's OK.

Ooh, I just started Hounded this morning and I'm loving it. I had to force myself to put it down so I could get errands done early and get back to it later. Of course, now I must get off Goodreads to accomplish that....

I have the Eyre Affair but I wanted to read it this week. I offered it in a virtual box on paperbackswap. I was going to start it tonight so I have it read befor the box starts.
