Just finished Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie 10/23****

Pretty good book, funny as hell.
This a fairy tale about Cal and Min, Cal is a great guy, so nice and good and hot and everything, just perfect... too perfect. Min is a modern cinderella, sort of, who's sensitive about her weight and has a very crazy, very normal family.
I loved the happy ending but the diet-fat-chubby-ugly stones thrown at Min were too much to even be funny so only 4 stars for this book.

Review: This addition was Clay's turn and more about the leopard pack. Clay's childhood friend Talin/ Tally was back and needed his help. This was a little bit of a more serious book dealing with the topic of child abuse and child abduction. The psy are still evil, and with the psy power play and more counselor drama. The steaminess factor was missing in this one as well. Finally glad to get this one read since I missed this edition when reading thru this series, now filling in the holes.

I actually liked this one better than the previous book in the series. I'm curious about where the series is going. Loved meeting Dmitri's family. The whole Dmitri situation was depressing; liking Adrian more and more with each book. I found Lissa's story more interesting than Rose's for the most part. (view spoiler)[Abe being Rose's dad took me by complete surprise. Did NOT see that coming. (hide spoiler)]

I checked on the other team's thread and they only have one book left. Actually, that was several hours ago too so they may have already finished. It's been fun either way!
