Bibliophilia or bibliophilism is the love of books. Accordingly a bibliophile is an individual who loves books. A bookworm is someone who loves books for their content, or who otherwise loves reading. The adjective form of the term is bibliophilic. A bibliophile may be, but is not necessarily, a book collector. The opposite of bibliophobia - abibliophobia - is the general fear of running out of reading material. Such people are abibliophobic.
A large group of us here at FA are serious bibliophiles as well as abibliophobic. :-) With that being said, it’s no surprise that a lot of us collect lots of books. We collect 1st edition prints, e-books, leather bounds, gold leaf, usual prints (and the list only goes on from here).
We started a list of places where people can go to purchase in the middle of a previous thread that was buried quite a while ago. I thought it would be helpful for this information to be in a place that’s easy to find.
