Elizabeth | 74 comments I thought I'd seen bullet lists in book descriptions, but in Everyday Negotiation by Deborah M. Kolb, the raw code was showing up in the book description. I edited the description to include closing tags for all the li tags, but it still shows up as raw code. Is there something I'm missing?

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments I don't think GoodReads accepts true html lists. I usually fake them just using a series of *'s.

Mel (soireb) | 224 comments I quick question:

Can HTML tags be use within the description field while editing a book?

Say I want to make a phrase either bold or italics, can i do it without fear of it showing as code?

Yes, most can. Bold and italics certainly can.

You shouldn't need those, as regular old carriage returns work in descriptions.
