Oh my. oh my. oh my...

I don't even know where to start with this. Tears at the heart, in many directions. Loved it.

We get so many answers here.

1. We learn what Grim's part of the contract was with Iron Horse.

2. The Key. What it opens.

3. The clock. Why it stops. (which I might add I was happy with. I was afraid it was someones time to cease.)

4. Why Meghan was picked for the Iron Glamour. Ane with Summer to boot.

My heart broke when she released Ash from his vow and promise. But I'm also glad she did. As I'm not sure he would have survived if she hadn't. And there wouldn't be a possible future for them to have. :) So good thing she did. Even though it was so hard to read.

It seems Meghan has grown soooo much by the end of this book. She seems to understand the way of the courtly things and being Queen. She can't go for the things she wants anymore, like she did at first with Ash. She needs to work at what her obligations and not rush to find Ash. Knowing he can't survive in the world she has to live in. Sounds like she has done some great growing up.

Ethan, Meghan's little half-brother. I think this whole experience has left a lasting impact on him. He isn't going to grow up like normal kids and forget about the fey things. He is going to remember what happened to his sister and how she is a Queen Faery. That will stick with him for ever. And I can soooo see him becoming his own trilogy as well. Julie really has some great room to go with him.

Okay, now for my favorite character... Ash!

I'm wanting these two together in the WORST way! I have to have Iron Knight now. Have too!!!

I just keep thinking Iron fey don't have a weakness against the Winter fey, only the Summer fey. So I'm wondering if this will play to their advantage if Ash can figure out what to do so he can survive in the Iron Realm. There really has to be a way for them to work out. Has too!!

I really enjoyed watching her grow in this book. She sure isn't that same girl we met in The Iron King.

Oh I know! I am thinking the same thing. I can't wait to see how he goes about it. I know there will be plenty of ups and downs but I agree, They HAVE to be together!

I will admit that I was in tears at this point in the book. I can usually fight them back but Ash was so heartbroken it just killed me.

Mee503 | 32 comments I have to say this is my favorite so far. I can't wait to read the next book.
I will have to wait until The Iron Knight is released to read that one.
It is going to be a very long wait :)

I hated this part but I knew it was coming. I sensed it. I hope whatever Ash has up his sleeve reunites them in the next book.

Ya she has certainly grown up a lot since the first book. She seems happy to for the most part.

Ya I would like to see this character in future books. I hope he retains his memories as he grows. Such is the way of life. You grow and forget.

I agree! They belong together even Puck knows and accepts it now. I can't wait to see where this leads.
