I'm thinking we need a fan page for Cambria!! :)

She keeps us all going, she is awesome!

Absolutely! Not everyone likes zombies or witches or...GASP....werewolves (don't let Cambria read that, she'll hunt those people down and ridicule them). If you just stuck to books, people would only listen when the topic interested them.

BUT! Everyone loves toilet snakes and home bathroom defense items. Can't go wrong with that kind of wide appeal! :)

We have also talked about ex-wives, chickens, and how to tell if someone is a REAL redhead or not. We won't hold anything back - ya never know what we may talk about! People have told me that they wish we had a live morning talk show! :)

I know Cassie and I don't do mornings very well. haha!

Angela Smith (dandilyonfluff) | 144 comments Cambria wrote: "I dont think i have seen that version. Ivwatxhed thw most recent one a dew months back but i didnt care for it."

Do you mean the Sherlock Holmes mini series that was on tv awhile back or the movie? I hated the movie... they changed the whole character of Holmes into a bumbling idiot that relied on Watson for everything.

It was like they tried to give him Mr. Magoo's personality, or Inspector Gadget, Johnny English, the shoe phone guy... I think those are all great characters; the archetypal bumbling detective.

Sherlock Holmes is NOT one. Hahahaha.... can you tell I am a fan? ;p Sir Arthur would have slapped those script writers silly.

I still like the Gene Wilder version... in my book Gene can do no wrong, even if it's Sherlock Holmes ;p

message 140: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments It's the new movie version with uhh...Robert Downey jr. I didn't much care for it. I think Jude Law is in it as well.

message 141: by Cassie (new)

Cassie McCown (cassie629) | 713 comments I like the new movie version... :-) There is another one coming out soon....

message 142: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments yes, i heard about that. i don't have anything against the actors but for some reason I didn't care for the movie. Not sure why. :)

message 143: by J.A. (new)

J.A. Clement (jaclement) | 1328 comments Haven't seen the movie one but am intrigued.... but always with the proviso that my SH purist tendencies make it likely I'll hate it! That way, if I go in with low expectations I have a much better chance of actually quite enjoying it....

I thought I would throw out a quick reminder that we have a new show coming up tomorrow - July 26th at 9pm EST!! We have another author to interview, and it should be some GREAT fun...

And to those of you who like to see well into the future...one of our VERY OWN CREATIVE REVIEW MEMBERS will be interviewed the first Tuesday of August!! That's right!! Phil Cantrill will be interviewed as well!!

message 146: by Angela (new)

Angela Smith (dandilyonfluff) | 144 comments Yay! I'll be trying to catch it live, or stalking around to listen afterwards ;D

message 147: by Amy Eye (new)

Amy Eye | 1841 comments Mod
We don't mind the stalking, but the show is so much more fun if you are there for it live!! LOL

message 148: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Stalking is a good hobby. I do it all the time. Putting candy in your pockets makes it more fun. :)

It will be Ghost week tomorrow so if you have a scary ghost encounter to share call in and tell us about it!

message 149: by Angela (new)

Angela Smith (dandilyonfluff) | 144 comments I am planning on tuning in... I'll try the candy in my pockets trick... is that bait or stalking snackfood?

message 150: by J.A. (new)

J.A. Clement (jaclement) | 1328 comments Yeh, y'see there are not that many hours in the day where I am genuinely asleep but that's smack bang in the middle of them!
