Rachael Hello Authors!

I recently started a book reviewing blog (historicallyyoursbookreviews.blogspot.com) and I would love to read and review your books!

I enjoy a wide variety of genres to include historical fiction, paranormal romance, erotica (to include m/m and f/f), mystery, crime, science fiction, urban fantasy, horror, some chick-lit and the ever popular young adult. I do branch out into other genres not mentioned here, so if you're interested please feel free to contact me. I would love to keep open the option of doing Author Spotlights as well!

I would prefer .mobi files for my Kindle, however other forms are okay too! Within reason, I would also be more than willing to purchase the book or search for it by some other means.

I know I don't have many reviews under my belt right now but I do love to read and, just like authors, even the reviewers have to start somewhere, right? All of my reviews would appear here on goodreads, on my blog and on Amazon, where I purchase all of my eBooks. If you wished for me to post the review on another website as well I would be more than happy to accommodate!

Thanks for considering me for your future reviewing needs!

You can contact me through PM here on GR or at historicallyyoursbookreviews@gmail.com.

Library Lady 📚 | 191 comments Hi Rachael,
If you're still interested in reviewing, please take a look at my book and see if it looks like something you'd be interested in reading. It is urban fantasy, but very character-driven and somewhat of a literary bent. If you think you'd enjoy reading it, let me know!

Other than here, amazon and my blog is there any where else you both would like my review posted?

She settles into her new foster home and even makes friends for he first time in her life, but her new found sense of belonging is threatened when the stableowner is hurt by a mysterious attacker and in the aftermath decides to sells his horses if the criminal isn't found. D. Robert Pease (drobertpease) I've got a upper middle grade, science fiction book, I'd love a review on. Here's the blurb. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you a copy.

Noah lives for piloting spaceships through time, dodging killer robots and saving Earth’s animals from extinction. Life couldn’t be better. However, the twelve-year-old time traveler soon learns it could be a whole lot worse. His mom is abducted and taken to thirty-first century Mars; his dad becomes stranded in the Ice Age; and Noah is attacked at every turn by a foe bent on destroying a newly habitable, post apocalyptic Earth.

Traveling through time in the family’s immense spaceship, Noah, a paraplegic from birth, must somehow care for the thousands of animals on board, while finding a way to rescue his parents. Along the way, he discovers his mother and father aren’t who he thought they were, and there is strength inside him he didn’t know he had.

I would love for you to review a couple of books, if you think they would tickle your fancy. I completely understand about time constraints, however. The first is On the Matter of the Red Hand. It is available as a MOBI file or as a PDF. Here is the description as shown on Amazon:

It is night in the city of Teredon, and it is raining. In the shadows, a lone man stands, watching a building across the street. He has been guided here by strange visions- visions that seem to senselessly whisper of dark deeds.

Those visions guides him down a narrow path. Here, surreal, dreamy images lead to the Scarlet Cellar- a haven of criminals that seem untouchable by the hand of the law. Soon, he learns of a missing girl- and her angry, powerful brother. Each is another step down a twisted road that leads to forbidden alchemies and horrific experiments hidden in plain sight.

In a city powered by steam and ancient technology, he is the only one who can understand the true horror of what is happening.

He is Thom, the Judicar.
In two days, his visions will be gone.

The other is the Herald of Autumn, also available in MOBI or PDF formats. Here is the description as shown on Amazon:

Stories live.
They breathe.
They walk the land.

Tommy Maple is the Herald of Autumn, one of the last of his kind. Every year, with the dawn of fall, he awakens, to again wander the land. Wherever he goes, red leaves and cold wind follows him, and wherever he goes- he hunts. There are things unseen in the world of men, strange things that live in the cracks between places. It is Tommy's place to hunt them, protecting us from the darkness that we cannot see.

As the Untold Age dawns, he is one of the few faeling creatures that remains in our world. Creatures borne and breathing stories and magic, and now their age is at an end.

This Autumn , however, is different from those in the past. Tommy awakens to the taunting of an age-old enemy, and is powerless before him. Soon, a sinister tale unfolds- a story that spans centuries and the entire continent, and ends with one bone chilling point.

The Untold Age isn't coming- it's already here.

It's harbingers walk the land.

Now Tommy faces a foe unlike anything he has ever faced before. But soon it is obvious that even one of the last talebourne cannot stand against the cold that comes, and Tommy learns that perhaps, the end is in fact inevitable.

The Untold Age comes.

Please let me know if you would like either (or both) for review and I'll send you a copy. I would appreciate reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. Thank you for your time.

Puramore: The Lute of Pythagoras

Greetings, Rachael,

My sci-fi novel, Puramore - The Lute of Pythagoras, continues the social science fiction genre created by Aldous Huxley and George Orwell and others during the 1st half of the 20th century. Set in the context of antiquarian history, the book stands out as a truly unigue story representing one possible course of mankind's future.

You may also enjoy reading and reviweing the section of my Goodreads Authors Blog entitled The Patricians (see http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...). It presents my discoveries in conducting personal antiquarian genealogical research.

Genre companion books:

Brave New World
1984
Darwin Among The Machines: The Evolution Of Global Intelligence

Related genre literature:

The Book of Lies
The Book of the Law Liber al vel Legis
The Power of Myth

Adam Tritt (adam_tritt) | 2 comments My latest book needs reviews. All the profits go to charity so I'd very much like to see it going a bit better than it is, and reviews are essential. It is a memoir, so it is a bit outside of what you normally review, but it is quite romantic in nature, so not as far outside as it might be.

It is available on Amazon in ebook right now, because that maximises the profits for the local charity. But soon it will be available elsewhere and in paper.

Songs from the Well A Memoir of Love and Grief by Adam Byrn Tritt

Thanks,

Adam

Debra Edwards | 9 comments Hi Rachel, my YA paranormal e-book, Marvin's Curse, has just been published and I am looking for reviewers. If you are interested please let me know. I can send a PDF copy. Thanks.

How would you handle the dead? After losing his dad, 17 year old Marvin finds he can see and talk to the dead, an inherited 'gift'. Bonus, you might think, but Marvin hates it. It makes him different and he just wants to be 'normal'. He meets Stella in the graveyard that backs onto the house he's just moved into. 'My name is Stella, Stella McCartney. It says so inside my trousers.' (!?!)
A mysterious business card reveals that Stella has lost her memories and all signs point to Moghador, a gateway to hell where a pawnbroker holds the answers. And Stella is DEAD! She just doesn't know it... yet!
