you know what, even though he's completely different than what i would imagine quinn looking like, i think i could see it. he used to be on a show called "the game", absolutely hate his voice but he has some nice eyes.i can't find anybody that would go with my mental image buuuuut that mark salling is pretty easy on the eyes. doesn't look like that big of a guy though.

It's too bad Yule Brenner is too old for the part. I think Vin Diesel would make a good Quinn.
I used to think Vin Diesel or the Rock too. I think in the books they even refer to Vin Diesel when describing him? It's been awhile so I'm not sure.That said, I think Jason Mamoa aka Khal Drogo would be perfect.
I could see Khal Drogo but still prefer Vin Diesel and yes Vin Diesel was referenced in the book for Quinn. I wouldn't want the rock. The man can't act.
How funny I thought about the Rock. He isn't an actor that's why he is back in wrestling, LOL. Vin is getting on in age too. Jason would be a good choice. He has never got a chance in a really hot TV or Film. A role in True Blood could do it for him. It says in wiwkipedia Jason cut of his dreadlocks beacause they werre so heavy they gave him head aches. Oh please, har.
Game of Thrones was an awesome show! I would love for Jason Momoa to play Quinn. He's soo hot, I didnt really like Quinn in the books (kept picturing Mr. Clean) but if Jason plays him, I think I would like Quinn better!
How funny I kept picturing Mr. Clean myself. Especially how he dressed for the convention in Rhodes. Anyway dead reckoning is picking up now that Eric is seriously talking about offing Victor. Sometimes freaking Charlaine goes of on this family stuff with Hunter and Remmy. Taking him to school. I could careless and just skim over that stuff. Anyway at least I am not having to force myself to read the book. : )

I did read it real fast. Of course Hunter is a genious, and Sookie is reading the teachers minds. Tiresome.

When it comes to acting, the Rock is like his stage name, a complete and total wall with the personality to match. He will never break out of his stereotype and when he has tried, he has failed miserably.
Jason Momoa as Quinn? Oh wow I'll be waiting anxiously for every ep he's in. Yum-meeh.

To put that into perspective (i.e., how tall he would appear standing next to 5'5" Anna Paquin), Alexander Skarsgard is 6'4" tall; Joe Manganiello is 6'5" tall; and just for comparison, Stephen Moyer is 5'10" tall.
Jason Momoa, however, is a passable 6'4" tall...I'm just sayin'. :-)
umm so 6 feet tall would be too short when Stephen Moyer is 5'10. How would that make Vin Diesel too short? I confused especially since Stephen Moyer is shorter than Vin Diesel.
I just think of Quinn as being abnormally tall. I don't know if that's an impression I developed based on Charlaine's description, or my own image of Quinn, though.If you were to stand Vin Diesel next to Jason Momoa, Diesel would look short and stocky. Of course, he's not actually short, but everything is relative.
Plus, something about the idea of Vin Diesel as Quinn just bugs me. I mean, I like him and I've seen a lot of his work, but I just can't see him as Quinn. I think it'd take more than just being bald and muscular.

I liked him well enough at first, I guess. And I do think Sookie was wrong in the way she broke up with him, and thought she was pretty self-centered for saying "you need to put me before your family." But... he did betray her, he lead the Vegas vamps right to her doorstep.
I would just really love if they incorporated the character of Quinn on the show (regardless of whom they cast).I would also like to see more of Hadley/Hunter/Amelia but, they killed off Queen SophieAnne so i'm not sure how that is going to work.
Yeah I don't think they should have killed of Sophie Anne so sooner, I sorta started to like her in the books at least.
