Cynfully Sweet (cynfully_sweet) | 26 comments @Aimee-

I hope you like the fever series! it's definitely a good UF read :)

And I agree, if I didn't toss my vote to Barrons, Zhadist, Rhage, or Wrath would get it :)

message 52: by Cynfully Sweet (new)

Cynfully Sweet (cynfully_sweet) | 26 comments since there's now the sexiest dangerous hero of all... I take back my vote for Jericho Barrons as the most dangerous (since... can't help thinking sexy at mention of Barrons) and instead place my vote for most dangerous hero...

Edward/Ted Forrester - Anita Blake Series

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 688 comments OMG, where are Christine Feehan's heroes from the Ghostwalker series? Jack Norton from Conspiracy Game comes to mind right away when I think super-danderous!

My favorite Ghostwalker is Kadan from Murder Game!

I second you on the GhostWalkers, Zee and Megan!

message 59: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (halfpint66) | 272 comments ANY and ALL Ghostwalkers or Black Dagger Brothers!!

message 60: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 381 comments As much as I love all of the above, Edward from Anita Blake is pretty darned dangerous, guys! He's not really sexy and not a leading man per se (yet) so he's not gonna get a lot of votes, but the man is LETHAL yet he isn't trying to kill Anita (yet). He and Raphael (Guild Hunters) both scare their heroines to death quite often, remember?

There are a couple of SEALs or SEAL-type guys I'm trying to remember that are pretty yummy ... I mean, dangerous *grin* that I'm trying to remember but I can't pull them from the murky pit of my elderly mind ...

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 688 comments Yay for the Ghostwalkers! :)

I added Ilya and Lev Prasenskii from the Christine Feehan books. They are uber-dangerous.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments That is who I was thinking of Danielle when I read this thread! And Gregori from her Carpathian series.

message 64: by Dina (new)

Dina (twidi) | 50 comments Ladies, I'm in love with your choices, even though, there are some that I'm not familiar with-yet- But I'd love to add The Varinski Brothers from The Darkness Chosen Series by Christina Dodd :D they are AMAZING!!!

message 65: by Danielle The Book Huntress , Loves 'Em Lethal (new)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
DK did you mean the Wilders from Darkness Chosen (being the good branch of the Varinskis)?

message 66: by Dina (new)

Dina (twidi) | 50 comments Lady Danielle :) you are absolutely right! They are the Wilders that I meant :) that Adrik is just it for me ;) (thanks for correcting me) xoxo

Justina | 8 comments Lady Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "I added Ilya and Lev Prasenskii from the Christine Feehan books. They are uber-dangerous."

OH!!! I forgot about them! You're right.
Clayton Danvers from Kelley Armsrtong's Tales of the Otherworld series is pretty freakin' dangerous too.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
No worries, DK. I love that series too. And Adrik is to die for!

Definitely must add Clayton, Justina.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments I still need to read the Kelley Armstrong books! I hear such good things about them, and I love a dangerous hero!

message 71: by Danielle The Book Huntress , Loves 'Em Lethal (new)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
I've read the first two and a short story, and they are good reading, Suzanne. Clayton is just wow!

message 72: by Dina (new)

Dina (twidi) | 50 comments I got the chance to buy the Kelly Armstrong series? Is it worth the buy? Is it as intense as the BDB series?

message 73: by Danielle The Book Huntress , Loves 'Em Lethal (new)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
It's very different from the BDB. It's character-driven urban fantasy.

message 74: by Dina (new)

Dina (twidi) | 50 comments hmmm.... well, what I meant was, is it as intense? Cause some books are good, but they are not intense... like get all tingly inside.. if I'm making any sense.. I love it when a book hook you from the start.. like Christina Dodd and J.R. Ward.. and right now I'm reading Christine Feehan's Dark series.. they are really in the zone ;)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
DK, seeing that we have similar tastes, I think you might enjoy the Kelley Armstrong books, but they aren't quite as zingy as those authors you mentioned.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments I am reading Psy Changeling at the moment, and think Hawke is also another great dangerous hero!

Good one, Suzanne!

message 78: by Winnie (new)

Winnie (poohbayr) | 3 comments I'm gonna have to put my money on Barrons for sure. I read a lot if the series on the list and none of them were as ruthless and mercenary as Barrons. (although a lot if them are EXTREMELY sexy).

message 79: by Aimie (new)

Aimie (aim4theneck) | 4 comments after just finishing Darkfever I will definitely agree Barrons is one hell of a dangerous guy. He hasn't come across sexy like the brothers out of JRWard's BDB series to me, But he's alluring, fascinating & intriguing. Can't wait to find out more about him.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments Yeah Barrons is definately one bad mofo, but I don't think I have ever viewed him as a hero! I am one of the few who doesn't like him!

Jessa ♥ EvilDarkSide (metalgirl80) Barrons is more of an anti-hero to me. He's more mercanery than heroish. But he is definitely dangerous and sexy!!

Jamie from Outlander can be very dangerous. I definitely wouldn't want him on my bad side.

❤️ Dorsey aka Wrath Lover Reviews ❤️ Wrath and Zadist of BDB

message 83: by Aimie (new)

Aimie (aim4theneck) | 4 comments Another dangerous guy i thought of is Jack Reacher, from Lee Child's Jack Reacher series. Not paranormal but he's ex military and Dangerously sexy I mean sexily dangerous.. Oh you get what I mean. Lol..

message 84: by Danielle The Book Huntress , Loves 'Em Lethal (new)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 9851 comments Mod
Man I need to start the Reacher series soon! I think I will be Jonesing after Jack Reacher for sure.

♡Meme♡Reads love♡ | 203 comments Most definitely Zadist and Bones too! I want to read more about this Acheron Guy from Sherrilyn Kenyon he seems dangerous too! I've read only two of her books.... I like this question. :)

message 86: by Katya (last edited Jul 02, 2011 05:19AM) (new)

Katya | 327 comments I agree...hands down JZB from Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning is number one on this list. He is over the top everything-sexy, dangerous, unpredictable, annoying, wonderful! Ugggh, I love that guy!

But what about some of these honorable mentions (I don't think have been mentioned above ?):

Daegus from Spell of the Highlander (Highlander, #7) by Karen Marie Moning , Jacques from Dark Desire (Carpathians, #2) by Christine Feehan , Maddox from The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter , Wrath from Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward , Mancheres from Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, #2) by Jeaniene Frost to name a few.

message 87: by Roshio (new)

Roshio | 26 comments Curran has to be the most dangerous hero for me, no question. The guy would destroy a whole army to get to Kate or he'd die trying. I have to check out Jericho Barrons though, he seems like a favourite here!

♡Meme♡Reads love♡ | 203 comments Curran from what book?

message 89: by Roshio (new)

Roshio | 26 comments Curran from the Kate Daniel series by Ilona Andrews. One of the best UF series I've read in a while.

♡Meme♡Reads love♡ | 203 comments Thank you I have one her books on my to-read list. :) I have to check and see if its that one.

Steamywindows♥♫ (steamywindows) | 59 comments How about Jacques from Christine Feehan's Dark Desire? He was betrayed, tortured and buried alive for years (vampire in the Carpathian form). While this almost drove him to madness and he is violent and nearly unreachable, he does get a shot at redemption.

I just loved the part where he is wounded and trying to protect Shea with his body (a little manhandling as well) from his brother and Gregori because, even though they are trying to help, he is out of it and his instincts tell him that they will harm her? To me...this was the best Carpathian novel.

I agree, I think 3 of CF's books have made this list:

Dark Guardian (Carpathians, #9) by Christine Feehan , Dark Legend (Carpathians, #8) by Christine Feehan & Dark Desire (Carpathians, #2) by Christine Feehan

message 97: by Heather (new)

Heather | 26 comments Jericho Barron without question

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) Raphael - from Vampires in America series

Awilk -never sleeps- (awilk) | 98 comments Judd Lauren from Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh. He was nice and built, but had a dangerous mind, so he was a little different to the other dangerous heroes around.

message 100: by Ila (new)

Ila Have to go with Raphael from Guild hunters, or Bastian from the Ice series! They are not cute, cuddly or funny, just completely bad ass !
