"Caleb's Crossing" Book Discussion

Somehow I missed the start of this discussion and have been waiting for it to start! I really enjoyed this book. I think the author did a wonderful job of making this story genuine with her use of appropriate language and more, including the idea of pre-destination. What a difficult time to be a bright young woman. It was so sad to see how Bethia thought it was her fault her beloved family members died. what a hopeless theology that was. It really was a picture of an interesting era. Although I loved Bethia's story , I hoped for more about Caleb.
