"Last Apprentice" series free pre-order

"The Last Apprentice" series by Joseph Delaney is currently available for pre-order for free (ten books) (see my blog post).

Has anyone read these? I know essentially nothing about them, but they appear to be highly rated on Amazon, so I went ahead and pre-ordered each of them, since there's nothing to lose. :-)

Bummer, I was afraid of that -- though I suspect the author and publisher prefer it that way. ;-)

EDIT: Hmm...spot-checking a few of them, I'm still showing them as $0.00. {confused}

I looked again and I think I just looked at the wrong ones ... some were and some weren't free ... I ended up ordering 2 to try them out ....

Definitely looks like it was a mistake. Many of them currently have no pricing info and cannot be ordered at this time. I'm curious to see now if I still get all of them as pre-ordered for free, or if the orders get cancelled, or what. :-/

I finally got all my preorders for this series filled yesterday. (Except for one they say won't be out until March.)

At no cost, despite them going on sale for $6.99 each. Timing was definitely everything here.

Yeah, I'd almost forgotten about it, figuring maybe they pulled the title so they wouldn't have to fill all those free orders, then all of the suddesn: downloading...downloading...downloading......
