rick riordan is a really good author.

people already do

Well....you see....it is really quite a long and confusing story. I'm sure the Apocalypse would care to explain that he's my brother.
Ohhhhhhhhh the secret's out!

The thing is that he'll deny it, but it is totally true.
You guys have to try to figure out who's telling the truth.
It won't be that hard.
Oh and he's younger......

I've read so many better books.
No offense."
Like what for instance? If you're going to comment like that can I see your ideas of better books. I agree there are better books but still that doesn't make this bad.

I like Stephen King and Jodi Picoult novels, The Hunger Games, Hate List, Dante's Inferno, Shiver, and more.

My thoughts exactly.............."
PJO is actually a childrens/middle grade book. but it falls slightly into YA because so many readers of that age read it. ((like me!))

i don't like Stephen King. His books didn't really give me the chills. I thought they were just weird not spooky.

no my Mommy says i'm not supposed to follow strangers... no matter how much candy they claim to have!! (hehehe)

Which one did you read?

i hope that my kids will enjoy reading them... when i have kids that is!!
love this series! i'm 12 and it was really easy and took me like, a week and a half to read..... but it was still amazing. i also read ('pouse to sound like red) the spinoff series(The Heros Of Olympus) and they were awsome too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was 11 when i 1st read the PJ series and it took me 2 days to read them and i am constantly reading them over and over!!

so did I. I have read them over 20 times

I think that there are a ton of books out there that are better and deserve just as much credit.
I think that Rick Riordan receives the credit he deserves {and a bit more} for writing a series of books that presented something that the world was looking for-something that didn't require very much thinking, something that was an easy read, something that didn't have a deep plot or a lot of character development-something a little bit boring for those of us you read because we like it, not because we want to be one of the people who's read a popular series.
I also think that the whole thing is being dragged on. I don't think it was necessary to add Percy to the Heroes of Olympus series.
In short-they're not bad, but just not as good as some books.

Uh How? I thought the movie was a poor imitation of the book. They left out some major characters. I thought the book was WAY better.

at the moment i must of read them at least 100 times... no joke!!!

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO agree. They're just fun to read. Main reason why most people love them.

I heard that too. My brother didn't like the movie, but I didn't see it.
