Favourite bit of clothing: I don't dress in the Steampunk style so I woul say a nice warm jumper.

Just thought I'd add a little bit about myself. I am actually in the process of writing my first novel,which of course is Steampunk. I started writing when I was 12 and I've been writing bits and pieces ever since. I haven't had anything published yet. I am 30 and Married to the lovely Michelle and have two little boys called Oliver and Oscar. I also suffer from Beckers Muscular Dystrophy and use a wheelchair, which actually led me to have the ambition to prove that life still goes on even when disabled. If anyone has any ideas about building a Steampunk wheelchair I'd love to hear it, if I was an egineer I'd definately have a go.

Favorite accessory: Other than wedding ring, my silver sapphire ring which was made in Germany in the late 1800's. It was given to me by my mother in law on my wedding day, and it used to belong to her great grandmother.

I think it's an Upstate New York thing. There are a lot of vineyards in the area and many take concord grapes and make pies out of them. Imagine grape juice in pie form with the consistency of cherry pie.

The Edge Chronicles is one of my absolute favorite series! I haven't come across too many people that know of it. =)

Why do you like Steampunk? What's not to like? I'll admit that I'm new to the genre, but steam-driven adventure in the heart of the Victorian Era is hard cup of tea to refuse. I prefer my stories with a dash of mystery though, but fantasy is more than welcome into the mix.
Favorite Steampunk book: Currently "Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Novel", although I still think Verne and Wells are a cut above the rest.

Favorite Steampunk book : I have to be honest - I don't think I've made it through one so far. I got halfway through The Difference Engine and concluded it was going nowhere and gave up. I am, however, halfway through Mechanique: A Tale of the Circus Tresaulti, and loving it. I don't feel right putting it down as a favourite before finishing reading it though.

Why do you like Steampunk? It’s such an mix of genres and styles – it’s pulp and adventure, but there’s history and romance. I like seeing how authors take the idea and run with it, what things they change in the world, what things remain more or less the same. And I have a weakness for airships/dirigibles/zeppelins.

I am frankly pretty new to the genera, mostly by seeing a few movies (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, the latest Sherlock Holmes,plus the Steampunk episode of Castle. My son just linked to a book of Steampunk art, jewelry, insects, that absolutely enthralled me.

Favorite Steampunk book : As I said, I am new, but so far, the link above, because I am an artist/graphic designer at heart. I also saw one called the Clockwork Muse, about Poe, that looks great, on Kindleboards.

Favorite non steampunk book: Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, but I see the possibilites of a Steampunk rewrite. In fact, Oliver Twist figures prominently in my Alexander Legacy project as a grown-up steampunk inventor.
