Book cover not visible in facebook

Is there any way that the book cover can be visible when its added to the book section on facebook?

Is this an issue with a specific book or books? If so, please link to the book(s).

If it's a general policy question or feature request, those go in the Feedback Group; Librarians edit book records.

Hmmm. That one's beyond me. I'm thinking maybe a feedback group issue? Or maybe not a goodreads issue at all, but a facebook issue? I know some tv shows and some books I add to mine show, but not others...

This is a Facebook issue, it has nothing to do with Goodreads. Facebook gets information for their Community Pages (which includes book, TV shows, movies, etc.) from Wikipedia. If the book has a main image on Wikipedia it will be visible on Facebook, but there isn't anything we can do from this end to fix that.

I believe I am the only GR staff member without a FB account, so I think the rest of 'em have that covered. ;)

This is an issue with some books that I add (not only these two), because most of them are with visible covers. All of the books are manually added from me and has nothing to do with Wikipedia.

Whenever you add a book to Facebook, it links your profile to a Facebook Fan Page for that book. This is how they bring together people from all over Facebook who have the same interests.

If you click on one of the books that has a cover image, it will bring you to a page with information about the book. At the bottom there will be a bar that says "Source" and it will explain where the information for that page comes from.

For example, I have Ender's Game listed as one of my favorite books on Facebook. See where it says the description is from Wikipedia?

Either way, this is a Facebook issue and not a Goodreads issue, so we won't be able to help you fix it.
