Error when trying to embed YouTube video

Hi!

I can't seem to add my book trailer, http://youtu.be/Rv-hRMA0kqQ to my profile. I keep getting an big red and pink error stating things that are completely irrelevant. :-/

Could someone please help?

Hi! Nope doesn't work :( I've tried the proper embed code too. This is the error I get:
4 errors prohibited this video from being saved
There were problems with the following fields:

Video is not a valid YouTube.com/Veoh.com/BookVideos.tv/Fo... embed string
Video is too long (maximum is 32 characters)
Source is not a valid YouTube.com/Veoh.com/BookVideos.tv/Fo... embed string
Source is too long (maximum is 128 characters)

Problem is, since you're a Goodreads Author, I can't use my librarian powers to check it out, so I guess we'll have to wait for a super librarian coming around.

Have you tried just pasting the link without the embed stuff?

Jessica, on the YouTube options, you need to click "embed" and then check the box that says "use old embed code".

Goodreads has been accepting the newer embed code from YouTube for quite some time. This is an old thread.
