I didn't even see that part of the description ...I just joined up(and here I sit on the Southern tip of Africa) But, yes, if I'd noticed it, I probably wouldn't have joined thinking it wasn't for me (although I love the discussions). So it may be a good idea to broaden the scope of member locations.

Me too! I'm in Colorado, and it never occurred to me that I couldn't join the conversation. Would others mind if we changed the description?
I would also like to be pe=asrt of the group although I cannot attend meetings. Looks like a great groupKaren Hackel

Sawubona, Karen, from a sunny but freezing Johannesburg! I've added your book to my "to-read" shelf - it looks interesting! And this is a lovely group, we seem to be building up an energy now and I feel it's getting exciting. Judy, South Africa
Hi all:It does seem like we've got a little group of very interested "mindful" readers here. Is anybody up for choosing a book and reading it together?

Why not? I made need some time to get a copy if I don't have it in my TBR pile. (I'm currently reading a very interesting little book called Through the Gates of Death by Dion Fortune)Judy, South Africa

I took the time to read some of the posts and it was clear I wouldn't be the only one who couldn't commute so far to physical meetings. I don't know if there still is a physical group that meets, but I'm wondering if we'd get more action on this discussion board if the group's description was broadened to say it's also a discussion about Mindful books for those far and wide. Any thoughts?
