i think she realised how much she loved him when she was nursing him and she was soo worried she would lose him

I completely agree with you :)

I think she fell in love when she thought he had died from electrocution and Fennick had to revive him.

I agree with (basically) everyone here; she fell in love with him when he gave her the bread. The whole, fateful incident affected her profoundly, and she remembered it years later, up till the Hunger Games and beyond. Katniss fell more in love with him during the Games. However, she was connected to Gale and felt guilty, like she was betraying him. So, she pulled away from Peeta. But I do think she loved him after all that time; it just required some time for her to both realize it and accept it. :)

I fully agree!

I think she started to love Peeta when she decided that he should live in book 2. Everything she did before that only confused her feelings. She had Gale as her ever present companion until the Games tore them apart. Then in a bid for survival she "plays" in love with Peeta. She continues to play in love with him during the entire first games and when she realizes he actually loves her she feels horrible. You cant feel horrible about someone loving you unless you dont love them back.
(might be overthinking/writing)
I think the decision to confront Haymitch with he plan to keep him alive instead of her was when she started to love him. Its not much but that willingness to sacrifice herself even though she has family and a potential love with Gale tells me everything I need to know about her falling in love.

totally agree. she might have loved the goodness in him due to the bread incident but didn't love him yet. THat to me didn't come in the final pages of the last book when she knew she loved his positive outlook more than Gale's rage

she knew this time only one could survive and she didnt want it to be him

i think it said in the book. i think it was when they were younger

I agree with you Kerri

agreed"
Me too... I think she's always loved himbut didnt know it. but I also think she's liked him because of the bread and him saving her life when they were younger. But she only noticed it in the end when he found out her love was all an act.
