Deedee | 79 comments 1 Dead in Attic was published, in hardback, in 2006. In 2007, a new, expanded edition was published in softcover : 1 Dead in Attic: After Katrina. Right now, these two books are combined as "other editions" of each other. I think they should be separated as different books, since the softcover edition is expanded (almost twice as many pages as the hardcover edition). I haven't altered either book's details; instead, I came here to the experts :0)

WorldCat agrees that they are the same work.

Gerd | 1050 comments A rough 160pages vs more than 350pages?
Yeah, I would agree that the "After Katrina" books have to count as books in their own right, separate from the first edition.

One wouldn't combine the regular edition of King's "The Stand" with the later, extended edition either.

Both versions of The Stand and both versions of Stranger in a Strange Land are combined. I'll always have duplicates on my list because of those two.

Gerd | 1050 comments Yeah, just saw this.

Doesn't make sense, IMO, it's not only the difference of almost 400 pages from one Stand version to the other, but also in how they end.
