I read this book about 2/3 years ago and I'd love to read it again but I can't for the life of me remember the title or who wrote it.
What I do remember is that the lead character is an actress who struggles to get parts but finds fame when she gets cast in a condom advert, I vaguely remember she has a witty line to say in this advert too (but I can't remember what it is!). I also seem to remember a bit about a stripy top (I could be wrong though).
It's a chicklit and quite a funny one too with a likeable heroine.
Funny - that was a storyline in one of the "Lethal Weapon" movies: Cop's aspiring-actress daughter gets a job in a condom ad - with a funny line - and all the guys make fun of her dad at the station. I wonder if they took it from your book (which I don't know - sorry).

Does this ring any bells with anyone?
