More than anything, I want my computer back. I have a feeling it would much easier to resist the urge to procrastinate were I able to actually balance out my desires to write and screw around on the Internet with the necessity of school; but with my computer broken this is not the case. >.<

Me: Well, I have school band camp at the beginning of summer, the 9th to the 13th, and I get my wisdom teeth out on the 17th. I think I have another school band camp in July, maybe? And then mid-July I may be going to Idylwild, another symphony camp, but this time more local. Other than that, nope. And yes, I'm still dating him. His name is Nathan c: Five months on April 1st.

Me: Nathan! That's his name. I thought it was Nate. XD Ooh, I've heard nice things about Idylwild. Its supposedly very pretty. How are you handling having concerts almost every weekend? Have you ever thought about just taking a break or is it just something you really want to do?(like for a career)

The only reason I ask is because back when I played in a orchestra it all got to be a lot of work. We had concert after concert and LGPE(Large group performance evaluation) took up so much time and with me not really wanting to pursue music as a career I just gave up. I mean I still play I'm just not as serious as I once was. As that ever been you?

Since I was a little kid, like, seven, I have wanted to be a professional musician. And since I was a little kid, I have been told that it isn't going to happen, that I need another plan, something to carry me on because a music degree won't get me anywhere. I've always loved music, and sure, it gets tiring playing the same pieces you've played before in countless other groups, or having three, four, five concerts of the same music over and over, but I just love it. This year was really the first year when I decided officially what I'm going to do with college, and it involves music and only music. I've gotten over the "well, maybe it can just be a hobby", and I tell myself that I don't care who else is out there trying for the same job, and that it'll be me sitting up there with the New York Philharmonic, or the LA Philharmonic, or the Philadelphia Philharmonic. Positivity c:

See, now that was amazingly well said. You are an amazing person dearest, Annie. I used to think like that. Right after we would have a major concert or LGPE I'd think this is where I belong. In music. This is what I want. but then I moved and I don't have a connection with music like I used to and sometimes it’s upsetting because I want to be around people that speak 'the langue of music’ (and fully understand it) and I don't have that around here which I think is another reason why I haven't picked up my viola in a while. What's funny is I used to sit on the computer and watch video after video of NYP (New York Philharmonic) and just wish I could be there. Play with people who CARE about music and have a passion for it. You go, girl! When you make it up there I'll be the FIRST one inline to buy tickets. You can(and will) do it. Then I can say I know a famous musician. <3
