Me: This is very true. We'd have to get her to know someone a lot better then, seeing as she has no siblings.

Me: Dude. One of my boys could lure Roxie into a friendship with him, and then when the time is right do the deed and be like, "You know, I wonder what [insert name-of-person-who-they're-acting-for-here] thinks about all this..."

Me: Or! I just thought of something worse-ish. What if the person who's pretending to get attached preforms a bait-and-switch? Like they lure her into a private place for a date or something, but Roxie comes in alone and--surprise! Instead of being her supposed suitor (who would have been acting anyway), she finds a boy who really, really has it out for her. And it happens that way.

I kind of like that better. It's more devious, and it also teaches a lesson: "See what happens when you let your emotions get involved?"

Me: Nice. So now we need two candidates: the fake suitor and the revenge-taker. I'd advocate Raven for the latter--even if he hates the thought of rape, he could go to that length to satisfy his need for revenge, especially if the conflict was personal. Or maybe not. It depends, I suppose.

Me: Jason could totally be the fake suitor. He's a sociopath, and he loves Cleo and Cleo alone--so he wouldn't have much problem with faking an attraction to Roxie. Silas could be the latter, definitely (again, he's done it before, and for the same reason: this is what happens when you disobey me.) Raven, now that I think about it, is ten times more liable just to torment her about it afterwards.

Me: But first Jason would have to have a motive to fake Roxie out in such a horrible way. He'd have to collaborate with Silas, who would undoubtedly want revenge for--I have a plan. If you've not one of your own, want to hear mine?

So Roxie, amused in that hotheaded way of hers by Silas's temper and protectiveness of his stepsister, goes to try and get under Cat's skin anyway--just worse now because she wants to see Silas squirm. Cat, of course, confesses what happened to Silas a few nights later, and Silas spends the next several weeks plotting his revenge. He meets with Jason, and under the promise of getting his weapons back Jason agrees to fake out Roxie (plus he doesn't really like her anyway.)
