Me: It didn't hurt when I got it done, but I could feel what the woman was doing the whole time and I felt it go through. It's just sore now and it stung a little afterwards.

Me: Duuude no Shakespeare over summer :P I have to read Hamlet like first thing next year, and we JUST did Romeo and Juliet. Agh.

Me: Some of them are okay. But I tried doing a research project on various interpretations of A Midsummer Night's Dream and I died. Stupid Pre-AP English....

You'll also have to read Night, a memoir of the Holocaust, and Great Expectations or the Oddesy. Hope to GOD for the Oddesy, because Great Expectations is death beyond all doubt.

Me: In class one time we had to try and interpret the poem The Odyssey. It was so awesome and my partner and I rocked it. XD

We can't take Pre-Ap English until my senior year and I've already signed up for it because Becker told my Guidance Counsler I shoul be in it. Next year I think we do all the Shakespeare stuff.

Freshman- Pre-AP or Regular- Oddesy/Great Expectations, Romeo and Juliet, The Pearl, Night.
Sophomore- Pre-AP or Regular- Hamlet, Brave New World (others idk)
Junior- AP or Regular- Lots of Steinbeck (Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice And Men...), Macbeth.
Senior- AP Lit, English 12, Creative Writing, Journallism, etc, etc, etc. Regular and AP Lit read Dracula and Shakespeare.

We don't know what to expect for classes in the upcoming years at all really. Not unless you have older friends that don't go to like, Boces or something. But they won't let us have AP English until senior yet because I guess you have to be REALLY REALLY GOOD to be in it and you hav to take a special test just to get in to the AP English class senior year.

Me: Geez... Nah, but senior year I'm taking one semester creative writing, one semester journalism.

So scared for next year, though. AP European History (hardest class on campus aside from AP Bio), French 1, Algebra 2, Pre-AP English 10, Physics...

We take one class all year-long. No semester changes.

Next year I have regular math, but they might have to bump me down to A2 which means I take regents after everyone else does. Other than that, we only get normal classes. Like art and study hall, English, algebra, Global (in actually excited for that!)

My neighboor hit me right under the eye with a stick. On accident. I'm just lucky it didn't hit my eye.

Me: Naw, it was sorta pin wheeling so it hit me on one end so there's a red mark. I was crying a little but it didn't hurt that bad, I was just shocked from being hit. I have a little bit of a shiner, but you can't tell unless you're actually looking for it.
