Publication Date Incorrect

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck is listed with a publication date of 1000.

Corrected to 1937.

There must be an issue with this, as it is back to 1000.

LOL, OK, I went back and fixed it again. There was some combining that went on between yesterday and today, but I don't know why that would matter.

There was an edition with the (incorrect) pub date of 1000. Every time a combine is done, the system compares pub dates to see if there's an older one.

So, I wasn't thorough enough? What steps should I have taken?

When there's an odd pub date, there's usually an edition that is the source. Check the editions (sorted by date on the editions page) to see if there is one, and edit the culprit.

It still states 1000. I hope I'm not being a pain. I only noticed it because it threw my graph of publication years all out of whack.
