Hi - I was talking about this book with some friends the other day and found your question with some googling. Did you find the Chocolate Mouse and Sugar Pig book? Is it the same as remember? In my mind they're in a candy shop and break out to have some adventures, but then the sun gets too hot and melts the mouse and then it rains and washes away the pig. It's one of those things that's going to drive me crazy, and no one I describe the book to has ever read it.

I am having trouble remembering the title of one of my favourite children's books that I want to get for Emma. It is a book about a marzipan pig and a chocolate rat/mouse (that could be the other way around) who live in a candy shop and become friends. Then they break out of the candy shop and have an adventures.
This is NOT the same story as "The Marzipan Pig" by Russell Hoban. There are no couches involved, so far as I can remember but the title has escaped me and I will be frustrated all day. Please help? Google is useless...
