Why would a school district want to know if a student was born by c-section?

I don't know if I would want my kid going to that school; it sounds like they are trying to make generalizations about behavior and intelligence based on birth. Or they are conducting a very poorly veiled scientific study. Either way it sounds vaguely like something out of a dystopian sci-fi novel.
Even if it was being collected for research purposes, the data would be invalid without a disclosure stating that they're asking the questions for research purposes and why and what they plan to do with the data, etc. This is very strange.
I can understand the school wanting to know if a child has allergies, asthma, etc. But how the child was delivered is not relevant and those questions shouldn't be there.
This is so weird to me because, as Heidi implied, the data are irrelevant. And if the data are irrelevant, then dangerous and inaccurate generalizations, as Amber said, could follow.
If a school district would ask that question, then that's a school district I wouldn't want to send my children to.
None of your fucking business.
None of your fucking business.

This confuses me.
