Do you like to see pictures and lots of visuals that make the blog eye-catching?

Are Guest books so out-of-date that they shouldn't be used?

Anybody have suggestions & ideas that bloggers can use to enhance and upgrade, etc. their blogs? :)

Hertzan Chimera (hertzanchimera) Political Awareness:
and I'm talking about not allowing those people we vote into power to steal our money for their financial global games, for example:

Afshin Rattansi - Max Keiser - Morgan Stanley - Goldman Sachs - Toilet Paper - WTC 7

Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne (wwwgoodreadscomstacydeanne) | 9 comments Hi Bobbie, I don't really care much for the visuals. I think one simple nice picture at the top of the blog with the title is good enough. Some people's blogs are decorated like My Space pages with widgets and all this stuff. It takes away from the content of the blog to me. I think it also depends on what type of blog. If it's a blog for writing and writers I think that the content should be more important than how the blog looks. I like it when a blog is simple because it helps keep your mind on the content. I don't pay much attention to guestbooks and always found them quite useless because most people ignore them anyway, LOL. I am also one who never signs a guestbook unless someone asks me to. The main thing I love to see on writing blogs is Author Interviews. I think interviews and guest bloggers help keep a blog fresh. In terms of blogs, I go with the old saying, "less is more".
