Erato wrote: "Hope you like QoS too. Really good stuff. :)"I really enjoyed this book, what a great start to a new series. Must give a big THX to several GR SOS members for the recommendation, since I snagged this one from your comments.
      Week 2: I read

for Cool Shades. However, there was nothing "cool" about this book! Hawt, Hawtter, HAWTEST!!!!

I've decided that my favorite thing about this challenge is the weekly posting. It is just a great big parade of sexy mens on book covers...and, OH! How I hate that! ;)

That is exactly my problem with all the hawt guys on the book covers.....my pants are on fire! >;) hehe

Ok, so I'm cheating a bit here but I think

should pass (by the skin of its cover) for the Hot Shades.

Vi wrote: "Ok, so I'm cheating a bit here but I think

I read for Cool Pad-cold location for week 3. Host is the third and final in the Rogue Mage Trilogy and man was it good! It is set in a post-apocolyptic US where winter lasts for 10 month each year. I really enjoyed this whole series and this was a great ending to it. Here is Dana's review of

I'm glad you liked it Dana, I've been meaning to read the Rogue Mage Trilogy for a while now. It sounds very interesting!Plus, look how pretty they are!! Probably my favourite book covers :)

I love those covers! This is the first time to see them...those plus the review/positive comments mean TBR just got a little bit fatter!

Aren't they awesome? Great cover art.One thing that I really liked about them is that the author pays to much attention to the way things smell. I know that sounds stupid, but women have a much more developed sense of smell than men. I need this in my books and when we are talking about sexy mens, you just gotta know, right?
The seraphs in the books all have a smell...it's really cool and it makes my mouth water just a bit. hehe
Aghh....my wallet is screaming NOOOOOOOOOO while my fingers are trying to find the cheapest way to add it to MY library! LOL...I wanna know what seraphs smell like........
I read Host earlier this year and I've since picked up #1 & #2. Looking forward to finding out how it all started.Judithe, I picked them up from BWB, give them a try they were reasonably cheap.
Sorry Judithe, didn't mean to throw temptation in your way. :) I'd loan you my Kindle copies but the dumb things aren't lendable.I think we need to look into the group profile on Amazon that Regina was talking about so we can share books. hhhmmmm......
Dana! You temptress! Now look what you made me do! I just had to buy it. But for £1.56 inc delivery (and the pretty version) you really can't say no, can you? ;)

OHHHHHHHHHHH.....jeeeeaaaalous! Where DID you find it for such a wonderful price? Still haven't found a matching-pretty-cover set...
UK Amazon but it's used (although good condition). There's another one that's like £1.61 or something still there for anyone in the UK interested Bloodring paperback (used - good). I don't want the other covers either lol ;)Hope you find a good price Judithe!
That is an awesome price! Would you consider being my personal shopper? it seems you have a knack. ;)

Oh my word, that would be such a brilliant job! Buying books all day long and getting paid for it *sigh*

Wow! Somehow my notifications for this thread got sucked into webspace ... so, I forgot all about it. No offense to you or your great challenge, Dana. RL is all over the place, I'm lucky my clothes aren't on inside out. :DI've got to take a look at my recent reads and update what's what with my overall list. Be back w/an update.
ETA: I've updated my original post with my reads for the last two weeks. Haven't picked one for this week yet.
NP Steph. :) RL is usually unfriendly to me as well. BUT...the grandparents are taking my kids for the week so I am fffrreeeeeeeeee! Then I get them back for 5 days and the other grandparents are taking them for a month! A whole month! Can you say read-A-thon? Ohhhh! *shiver* =P
(I'm gonna miss them.) *sniff* But seriously! A whole month! ;)
      Hey guys - would

work for the Anniversary week? Weddings and holidays usually have "gatherings" associated with them. Or am I stretching things a bit too far?

This week is most likely the 'challenging' part of this challenge. ;)
REMINDER: Any book with words associated with weddings, anniversaries, OR the 4th of July will qualify for week 5. i.e., book with the words red, white, or blue in the title would be acceptable for week five.

I'm thinking I should have added Dreamfever for one of the "hot" categories :P Just gotta figure out which one.
For week #3, I read for Cool Treat , Tempted by Trouble by Liz Fielding. It has ice cream on the cover (ans inside as well). Unique premise but unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book much. ★★
