NetGalley's Got It! *Share Finds Here*
I got a copy of
. It's really good, although the copy I downloaded was a pdf file and I hate reading on my computer.
I've gotten a bunch of those :) Reviews for some are on my blogwww.badassbookreviews.com
If you wanna check em out before you request them
AH wrote: "I got a copy of

I'm reading the old fashioned way - on the computer. I need to upgrade my Calibre so I don't have to deal with this nonsense. (I'll probably have to upgrade my computer, too, LOL).
In addition to some listed above, I just grabbed this one
I also get non-fiction and literary ficton from netgalley.
It looks really good. I am excited. I haven't AH but I have it checked out from the library so I plan to cure that deficiency very soon
I really enjoyed it, even though it was difficult to read at times. Well done series. I'm looking for the third book now.
I have heard that from alot of people. I have read the first page and thought it was very funny. I am hoping I like it.

Hey guys! Kristina from NetGalley here. Have you checked out our Device Guide? http://www.netgalley.com/about/devices/ It tells you all the different ways to access NetGalleys. The Bluefire Reader app (free!) is a really simple way to read NetGalleys on your iPhone/iPad.
Haven't got the fancy phone yet, but I managed to read it on Adobe digital editions on the old laptop. Must have liked the book a lot because I would definitely not do that for just any book. Kristina, I gave it 5 stars and will post my review once Goodreads stops being so wonky.
Hi, Kristina! Welcome to the group! We're all big fans of NetGalley. Thanks for sharing the tips.AH, glad you liked it. GR seems to be on the mend.
The Restorer was still there? I didn't find it or the Patrick Ness book.Oh well, ordered The Restorer.
I'm starting The Lost (I can't seem to get it to come up on the add book because her last name has a ~ over one of the letters).
I got it by searching "lost caridad".And my bad--The Restorer isn't there anymore. :(
Did anyone else notice all the cowboy and western books listed as "science fiction & fantasy"? Too funny. :)

I was wondering about that. Since when are westerns sci-fi?
I got an email from NetGalley today which states:

New series with 4 books, all by different authors! All 4 books were on there last time I looked.....
Yep, I spotted them there yesterday, Bookgirlie. :D Thanks for sharing. I also spotted (in addition to a TON of YA/fantasy):
... & Many, many more ~ LOTS to choose from

I saw all but the first one, do you think it matter of I skipped it? Or would I miss important set-up.
Well, I read the first one and it sets up the whole "royal siblings scattered to the winds" theme, but I know each book addresses the story of a specific sibling. So.... maybe ok to read out of order? Sorry, just a guess on my part.
I requested
and I really hope I get approved. I loved
. It caught me by surprise, but it was a great story.
I finished Prized. While I liked it, I didn't like it as much as Birthmarked. I started reviewing it today and made a like/dislike list and the dislikes were getting long. I put the review down because I want to find nice things to say as well. It was a 2.5-3/5 read for me.
:( Oh no, really? That's too bad. What'd you rate the first? I'll keep an eye out for your review. Is it cool to read it before the book or should I wait till after?
I rated the first book a 4, but I was generous. It should have probably been a 3.5. It is almost a separate book from the first, but will make way more sense if you read it in order. She sets up one world in the first book, the next book is in a totally different world.
Oh. I gave it 5. I really enjoyed it. Maybe b/c I went into with low expectations, I'm not sure. But, I thought it was a unique and interesting story. Shame she doesn't stay in the world she did, IMO, such a good job of building in the first. I had forgotten (view spoiler) I'll look forward to your review.
Found this on Netgalley a few mins ago. It was trying to hide from me because when I signed in, I couldn't find the sucker. For those who are interested:
ETA: Also
I am checking weekly for #3 in the Aftertime series by Sohpie Littlefield. The first two had been on NetGalley, so I am crossing my fingers that #3 will be there.
If you see it there, please let me know!
Lethal that is quite a haul!
Thanks Vivian & Regina & you're quite welcome! I'm super happy because today I got an email from Netgalley saying all my requests from Harlequin are now AUTO-APPROVED!! AHHH!
Thanks, Regina! That has definitely taken away some of the anxiety of requesting from that publisher. I've got this idea in my head that the more I check my inbox, the faster the email saying "Denied/Approved" will come. It's like waiting for the mailman on a Sunday. Madness.
I always feel so special when I am approved, so I completely understand. :) Your blog is pretty awesome, so I can see why they would auto approve you ladies.
*Lethal blushes* Awww thanks, Regina! I'm sure my fellow bloggers, AH & Erika, would be thrilled to hear that!
I feel like I am eavesdropping, but thanks Regina.I requested a few books today, but I've got a bunch to read.
I second the WhoopWhoop on your blog, Lethal, AH & Erika - I dig it!Thanks for sharing the a bit'o NG selections. Definitely a bunch I'd like to request. I'm still pending a yay/nay for Prized (#2 in Birthmarked series) and have a ton already on hand TBR, so I try to limit myself. Otherwise I end up with more than I can in the allotted time frame.
I have the Harlequin auto-approved status too. YAY! It really is nice. Now, if I could get that status for several others ... ;)

I haven't had a chance to pop over to NG in a bit, so I took a few minutes to scan the shelves today and here's what I found:
... and those are just a small few I recognized.
