My 3rd book I read was Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult. The main Characters are Mariah, Faith, and Colin White, Millie Epstein, and Ian Fletcher. It’s a book about a husband and wife who is getting a divorce and their daughter starts talking about her imaginary friend and quoting verses from the bible, a book in which she’s never read. Concerned with her daughters imaginary friend she starts seeing a therapist who actually thinks faith might be in fact seeing god. When news of this starts getting around and Mariah’s mother Millie dies of a heart attack, and only a couple hours later is brought back to life by Faith. It starts turning into a huge custody battle between Mariah and Colin where he is suing her for full custody of faith. Along the way they meet Ian Fletcher who is an atheist but soon starts to rethink everything he’s believed after witnessing some of Faiths miracles and ends up falling in love with her mother Mariah. This is a good book for anyone interested in law or just looking for anything to believe in.

I just recently finished this book and wasn't very excited about it. This is a book I was glad I only borrowed from the library and didn't spend money on. The only thing I really liked about this book was the character of Millie Epstein. The things she said made me laugh and were things I would have said myself.
well i am not gonna write a boo report now cause i have not read it. but tell me how it is when you get a chance. thanks
I agree with Donna and Carol. Like Donna I borrowed this from the library and was glad that I didn't spend a penny on it. I couldn't wait to finish it and as I kept reading probably hoping it would get better, I'm sorry to say that this wasn't the case. As a result I will definately avoid reading further books by this author.
Carol wrote: "I was not imporessed with this book either. Enjoyed HOuse Rules, but this one was a let dow."It's funny, I know I read this book, because I spent a summer reading everything Picoult wrote, but I can't remember it AT ALL. Doesn't speak to well for the plot, huh?
I'm surprised to hear someone say they enjoyed House Rules, I found it predictable from the very start. I knew exactly what was going to happen which I find unusual for a Picoult novel.
