I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that was a very well written review, but I personally really enjoyed I Am Number Four.

Why I liked the book? Well, because it was different than anything else I was reading at the time. It wasn't about vampires or werewolves or anything like that. I really liked the whole concept of it, and I thought that it was really interesting. Granted, I do wish they would have had a little more action in it, but still...
Yep. True. I'm all up for aliens, but the way the author executed the story was just wrong. The romance was the worst, and I think the whole story just sinks when you begin to detest the main characters. I also hated the ending.
Yeah, that's true. As soon as you begin to hate the characters, you also begin to hate the story. I thought that the ending was quite awesome. Mainly because it kept it open for the sequel
there is a sequel coming out in august and i thought tat the cliffhanger was a good one 2 get about everyone read the next one 2 c how it is

Didn't like the cliffhanger either.
^^ I don't know if that made sense, but oh well.

This book was amazing , i completely loved it !! & I cant wait for the 2nd one its not coming fast enough :/ & it was so sad when henri died :"(

I loved the book, and I loved the movie! Of course, the book was better. I really liked the story and all the characters--even the ones I disliked. That makes a better read when there are characters you are suppose to dislike. I liked how it ended; obviously leaving it open for its sequel. I was sad when Henri died, but I did feel it was necessary for John, Sam, and Six's continued journey. With Henri's death, John is now on his own without his Cepan just like Six is without hers.
(These were a few opinions I wanted to convey after reading some comments in this thread. I'm not coming down on anyone; it's good people have differing opinions! That's what makes everybody different.)
