Linda | 5 comments Linda, past the age of being marriagable per the Ton, U.S.A.
The Bedwyn series is my favorite but I've made it my mission to find the older books and just adored "Lady With A Black Umbrella"...
Favorite couple is probably Aidan and Eve since they were in the first Mary Balogh I read.
I was introduced to Mary Balogh's books by the young woman who works in the parking garage near my job. She's always reading and we started swapping books, she gave me "Slightly Married", I stayed up too late reading it and thus an obsession was born.

The Secret Pearl by Mary Balogh Favorite Mary Balogh book? Very, very hard to choose just one - maybe The Secret Pearl, which I've read at least 5 times.

At Last Comes Love (Huxtable Quintet, #3) by Mary Balogh Favorite Mary Balogh couple - probably Margaret and Duncan from At Last Comes Love (although the book itself is not an absolute favourite).

The Gilded Web (Web, #1) by Mary Balogh Simply Perfect (Simply, #4) by Mary Balogh My very first MB book was Gilded Web which I found in the library when I was looking for something similar to Georgette Heyer. I liked it, so went back for another and found Simply Perfect, which is, and that started me off on a multi-year MB glom where I purchased and read all of her published books and stories, mostly from eBay.

Any plans for a discussion topic about her stories and novellas, BTW? I love them as much as the novels.

What a wonderful thing to have this discussion group!

- I love so many - would have to reread them all to decide...
- favourite couple is Freya and Joshua from Slightly Scandalous. Actually, if I judget my favourite novel by how much it made me cry, Slightly Scandalous might win!

-Love Mary Balogh!, The Matchmaker series from Candace Camp. I used to read the Sookie Stackhouse series and the Anita Blake series but they started grating on my nerves and annoying me so I stopped and won't return to them. Always looking for any great suggestions of other great authors! Looking for a good author to start my reading world for a PNR or UF.

2. So far...I do not have a favorite book as they are all similar.

I am not sure why these books appeal to me. They are not my usual "cup of tea!" I guess I find them a guilty pleasure. I like the time period and location. Does she ever venture to the U.S.?

Nicole Morales | 1 comments Hi! My name is Nicole, 29, Philippines and new the MB group. My Favorite Mary Balogh Book is "More than a Mistress", but would like to read more of her books to claim that the book I just mentioned is really my favorite. Super excited to read more of her older ones, actually, especially Lord Carew's Bride, A Christmas Promise, The Obedient Bride, Courting Julia, A Precious Jewel, A Silent Melody. I have read the Bedewyns (My Fave is definitely Free's and Wulfric's), Huxtables, Web Series, A Secret Pearl, Heartless and so forth. But have so many to read under her list... My Favorite Mary Balogh couple is Jocelyn and Jane.

Ellen (ellen_embry) | 3 comments Hi! I'm Ellen, I'm 27, and I live on the Indiana side of Louisville, KY (Kentucky's only metropolis.)

I'm fairly new to Mary Balogh's books, but I LOVE them, omg. I just purchased her entire collected works (that's A LOT of books!) and I'm planning on reading every last one.

My favorites that I've read so far are Slightly Dangerous and The Temporary Wife. My favorite couple (besides Christine and Wulf) is Anthony and Charity from TTW.
