2. The Famous Heroine (Signet Regency Romance, AE 8773)
3. Aidan Bedwyn and Eve Morris
4. Fan of historicals and romantic suspense. Have my own regency historical coming out next year from St. Martins. Which I wholly attribute to the trad regency reading of my early teens:)

2. Heartless
3. Lucas Kendrick and Anna Kendrick from Heartless
4. Serious bookworm who started reading at age 4. I have been reading romance since I was twelve. It's still my first love. Shawna invited me to join, and I am definitely a Mary Balogh fan.

2. Pretty hard to choose just one: More Than a Mistress! (Currently, LOL!)
3. Christine Derrick, Wulfric Bedwyn from Slightly Dangerous.
4. I love to read - anything! Stick me in a car w/o a book and I'll read the owner's manual. I also love animals, Herman cartoons, and arm-chair traveling.

Thanks for the invite Shawna!

2. Then Comes Seduction (so far)
3. Jasper & Katherine from Then Comes Seduction; Stephen & Cassandra from Seducing an Angel
4. I'm a romance addict who loves all types of historicals, romantic suspense, paranormal, contemporary, and erotic.

2. A Promise of Spring. So hard to choose. I also love An Unlikely Duchess and The Ideal Wife (Dark Angel, #5)
3. Obviously I like the couples in the above mentioned books.
4. I've been reading MB since her very first book came out. I will have to say that I love her old stuff and tolerate the newer stuff. Basically I liked most everything before the Slightly books and have felt pretty meh about everything from that point on.

2. Lord Carew's Bride
3. Cora Downes and Francis Kneller
4. I've been reading Balogh since her first book too. I love the older trads, but I have favorites among her more recent books as well, particularly Slightly Dangerous, Simply Love, and A Matter of Class. I'm also really eager for Gwen's book.

2. More Than a Mistress and A Summer to Remember (Don't make me choose just one, LOL.)
3. Aidan Bedwyn & Eve Morris from Slightly Married (Obviously, I love the couples from the two books above too.)
4. I'm a proud bookaholic - duh! LOL - and I absolutely love Balogh's writing style. I'm not even close to finishing her huge backlist, as her old Trad Regencies are hard to find here in Brazil, but that's one of my reading goals.

2. Can't pick one! A summer to Remember, Slightly Dangerous, Simply Perfect, A precious jewel, A Secret Pearl,
3. Maybe Kit and Lauren, but there are so many...
4. I read a lot of romance 20 years ago, and just came back to it about 2 years ago. Its been fascinating looknig at the huge differences in the last 20 years, and catching up on backlists.

2. Wow, can't pick one either. LOL Dark Angel, Slightly Dangerous, Simply Love, No Man's Mistress, One Night For Love
3. Aidan and Eve, Syndham and Anne
4. I, like Debbie, just came back to romance 5 or 6 years ago and am amazed at the abundance of outstanding romance writers/stories out there. I love historicals, medievals, contemporaries and women's fiction. Mary Balogh is one of my favorites.

2. Slightly Dangerous
3. Wulf and Christine
4. I also have just come back to reading romances after about ten years thanks in large part to getting a Kindle. I read my first Mary Balogh book earlier this year and I'm hooked.

2. Slightly Dangerous, Slightly Married, and Dark Angel
3. Gabriel and Jennifer, Wulfric and Christine
4. Started reading at 12 and got hooked up with historical romances and regency after reading Mary Balogh's Dark Angel, my very first book. I buy her books ever since along with the other HR and regency authors.

2. Slightly Dangerous, Dark Angel, Silent Melody
3. Wulfric & Christine
4. Started reading MB 2 years ago. I liked most of her books. Esp series : Four Horsemen, Huxtable, Simply, Bedwyn, Mistress trilogy

The Bedwyn series is my favorite but I've made it my mission to find the older books and just adored "Lady With A Black Umbrella"...
Favorite couple is probably Aidan and Eve since they were in the first Mary Balogh I read.
I was introduced to Mary Balogh's books by the young woman who works in the parking garage near my job. She's always reading and we started swapping books, she gave me "Slightly Married", I stayed up too late reading it and thus an obsession was born.

Any plans for a discussion topic about her stories and novellas, BTW? I love them as much as the novels.
What a wonderful thing to have this discussion group!

- I love so many - would have to reread them all to decide...
- favourite couple is Freya and Joshua from Slightly Scandalous. Actually, if I judget my favourite novel by how much it made me cry, Slightly Scandalous might win!

Dark Angel
Miles Ripley and Abigail Gardiner
Mary Balogh's novels give me pleasure to read and calm me down after a long day and night of work and school.

-Fav Book(s): Slightly Dangerous, Slightly Scandalous, Simply Perfect, Irresistible, A Matter of Class.
-Fav Couple: Reggie and Anna from A Matter of Class
-Love Mary Balogh!, The Matchmaker series from Candace Camp. I used to read the Sookie Stackhouse series and the Anita Blake series but they started grating on my nerves and annoying me so I stopped and won't return to them. Always looking for any great suggestions of other great authors! Looking for a good author to start my reading world for a PNR or UF.

1. Tena, US
2. So far...I do not have a favorite book as they are all similar.
I am not sure why these books appeal to me. They are not my usual "cup of tea!" I guess I find them a guilty pleasure. I like the time period and location. Does she ever venture to the U.S.?

2. If I am forced to pick a favorite, Slightly Dangerous
3. Again if forced, Freyja and Joshua (Slightly Scandalous)though Wulf and Christine are a close second.
4. My first Balogh was "A Matter of Class". It became my favorite book... until I read "A Summer to Remember", then "Simply Perfect", etc. I have loved every one of her novels that I have read (though I am no where near through all of them). I love the Slightly series, its prequels and its sequels/ Simply series.

2. Favorite Mary Balogh book - Probably The Escape
3. Favorite Mary Balogh couple - Agnes and Flavian
4. Any additional information - I'm new to MB, but have read quite a few HR's....hoping that you can recommend the better MB books to me, as she has written so many. After reading The Escape and Only Enchanting, I'll be reading Beyond the Sunrise next.

I'm fairly new to Mary Balogh's books, but I LOVE them, omg. I just purchased her entire collected works (that's A LOT of books!) and I'm planning on reading every last one.
My favorites that I've read so far are Slightly Dangerous and The Temporary Wife. My favorite couple (besides Christine and Wulf) is Anthony and Charity from TTW.
