Originally from Colorado, but my travels have made me intimately familiar with Kansas, western Missouri, central and southern Texas, and Oklahoma. Have lived and worked for the past two years near the German/Swiss border.

Rachel: Well at the moment I don`t know if I agree. ;) The weather has been really bad for a while. We should been having snow and below freezing at this time a year but we only have rain and fall weather.

I was bron in Jaxsonville FL but then I moved to GA with my family but now, I live in St.Augustine FL for the Flordia school for the deaf and the blind cause my bother is blind.
I live in Western PA between Clarion Univ and Penn State.... Lived here for almost 5 years now, orignally I am from NJ born and lived there for 21 years, along the Jersey Shore. I have lived in Alabama as well ( briefly). But I like it here in the mountains....never a day goes by without a breath taking view.
I live near Uxbridge which is just North West of London, England. I'm 40 minutes by underground from Central London but we also don't have to go too far for green countryside.
Elizabeth wrote: "I live in Wisconsin. I've always want to visit Oregon, though."Hi Elizabeth! I am from WI as well! I just joined the group today! Looking forward to the Jan reads!
Live in Arizona outside of Phoenix, native never lived anyplace else. But there is lots of places I would love to visit.
I've lived in the "big" DM all my life. Des Moines, Iowa is amazing and I couldn't imagine moving away from here.
Wow all these exciting places! And in comes me , from Ohio. That's all I can really say about that. I'm not a fan of the state.
Kia ora! I live in the very south of New Zealand (the small country to the east of Australia and in the Pacific Ocean). The land of sheep, dairy, and the All Blacks! For us, summer has just begun and the sun is shining. Unfortunately, the earth is once again quaking just up the road in Christchurch. I am a primary school teacher and am making the most of the six week break to read, read, read.
Kel, I understand seeing as I'm from Iowa. I find most of the state boring, but I love Des Moines! I've never been to Ohio but I imagine it's a lot like here.

I am from Lee's Summit, Missouri, it is just a little south of Kansas City. It's not much to other people, but its home, but what it is sounding like I should be living in Oregon, because I love rain. I think the reason that I love rain is, because it hardly rains in Missouri, especially in the summer time.
Dennis wrote: "Hey Courtney! I lived in Lee's Summit for about a year or so and I liked it there a lot."Really? I like it here, but that could be due to the fact it is the only placed I have ever lived. The downtown area is my favorite place to be.

Are you saying "Really?" because you can't believe someone else here lived in Lee's Summit or that I liked it there? :)
I lived near the golf course and Paddy O'Quigley's which I'm sure is something different now!

I haven't made it to Lee's Summit yet, but I'm living in KCMO now. I love the area! I'll have to try to make it south sometime soon.

I think I am saying really, because people give me a blank look when I say Lee's Summit. Not sure if I have heard of Paddy 0'Quigley's.

I love Downtown KC, and you will more than likely run into me at the Nelson.

I live in the friendly and windy city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. Really living up to the windy name today as we have a howling gale. Beaches all closed and at least one person killed when a tree fell on the car. We are always friendly though...
